Yahweh Worshipers
Lesson 2
The Bed of Love
by Lawrence DeMetrius
What Yahweh desires with every mortal is intimate relationship based on mutual adoration and unfeigned faith. HE said through Prophets Isaiah and Amos,
Come now, and let us reason together.
[Isa 1:18]
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
[Amos 3:3]
The most intimate place of such engagement is likened to a Bed of Love, wherein Yahweh and HIS exclusive worshiper, passionately express their affection for one another.
*affection Gk #5426 phroneo (fron-eh-o) it is to...
1. exercise and entertain the mind
2. have feelings for
3. have an opinion about someone or something
4. be mentally disposed more or less earnestly in a certain direction
Concerning HIS Elect ones, Yahweh expressed through Prophet Jeremiah saying,
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith THE LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
[Jer 29:11]
King Solomon wrote a song that is a passionate tale of exclusive lovers. It describes the INTENSE AFFECTION expressed between Yahweh and HIS exclusive worshiper. The mightier LOVER, Yahweh has a kiss that is greatly longed for by the lover who is weaker in strength. Yahweh's worshiper.
King Solomon writes,
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.
[S of S 1:2]
Yahweh responds to this longing with an embrace that is figurative of the highest quality of trust exclusive lovers should expect of one another. Of this King Solomon writes,
Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.
[S of S 1:4]
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
[S of S 2:4, 6]
Not only does Yahweh expect HIS worshipers to wholeheartedly trust in HIM, but HE desires to wholeheartedly trust in them as well. The Old Testament notes,
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him.
[II Chr 16:9a]
There are three questions every Yahweh worshiper must answer with certainty as their fidelity will be tested.
1. Can The Lord Yahweh trust me to exclusively love HIM as my only GOD?
2. Is there another god in my life?
3. Could there ever be another god in my life?
Of this Apostles James and Peter writes,
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith, worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
[Jam 1:2-4]
But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
[I Pet 5:10]
Per King Solomon’s song, the NAME of THE LORD is likened to precious anointment to those who are pure in heart before HIM. King Solomon writes,
Because of the savor of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
[S of S 1:3]
THE LORD directs HIS beloved to where they will be nourished to remain strong in HIM. King Solomon writes,
If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherd's tents.
[S of S 1:8]
The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?
[S of S 3:3]
King Solomon's song heralds how perfectly Yahweh and HIS exclusive worshiper complement one another in their Bed of Love. He writes,
While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.
A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.
My beloved is unto me a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of En-gedi.
Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes. Behold, thou art fair my beloved, yea, pleasant: also, our bed is green.
The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.
[S of S 1:12-17]
Collectively, Yahweh worshipers are the Rose of Sharon and Lily of valleys amongst all children of the earth.
Of this King Solomon writes,
I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
[S of S 2:1, 2]
Yahweh in Christ is the APPLE TREE that shades and provides HIS beloved with endless delights. King Solomon writes,
As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
[S of S 2:3]
King David writes,
Delight thyself also In the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
[Ps 37:4]
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
[Ps 16:11]
The Lord Jesus said,
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
[Mt 6:21]
Apostle Paul writes,
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them:
[II Cor 5:19]
King Solomon’s song tells of how these exclusive lovers submit to one another's ownership.
It is an awesome display of transparency and vulnerability that only tried and true love invokes. Such devotion INTENSIFIES the AFFECTION expressed in their Bed of Love. King Solomon writes,
My beloved is mine, and I am his.
[S of S 2:16]
INTENSE WORSHIP is essential for all who occupy seats of great influence in the kingdom of GOD. INTENSE WORSHIP raptures Yahweh worshippers to higher dimensions within the spirit realm, where they experience increased sensitivity and awareness of Yahweh’s PERSON and passion for them. By definition, INTENSE means...
1. to be very strong, strenuous and earnest
2. characterized by much emotion and action
This is a glorious place to be with Yahweh, WHO desires HIS exclusive worshiper to experience the everlasting pleasures HE has for them in The Bed of Love.
