Yahweh Worshipers
Lesson 10
Lucifer’s Allies Pt 1
by Lawrence Demetrius
Temptation is one of Lucifer's Allies. She is sensual, tasty and full of carnal pleasures. Like her master, her sole purpose is to kill, steal, and destroy. Those who foolishly yield to her enchantments, willingly relinquish themselves to her deadly snare. Apostle James writes,
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man:
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Then when lust has conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
[Jam 1:13-15]
Just before his final demise, Lucifer will dismiss Temptation with her sensual pleasures and apply only pain and death to all who refuse to worship him. Apostle John writes,
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[Rev 13:15]
The brethren of Jesus Christ are admonished to realistically acknowledge mortal weakness and to continually pray for deliverance from Temptation. The Lord Jesus said,
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
[Mt 6:13]
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the <born-again> spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh <sin flawed mortal nature> is weak.
[Mt 26:41]
Only believers likened to the Church of Philadelphia fully understand that proper acknowledgement of mortal weakness is an element of spiritual victory, along with effective scriptural study and unshaken devotion to the lordship of Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus says to these believers,
I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: For thou thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My Name.
[Rev 3:8]
The brethren of Christ will always overcome Temptation by remaining wholly submitted to Yahweh with faith filled obedience. Apostle James writes,
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
[Jam 4:7]
Apostle Peter writes,
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to Him in well-doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
[I Pet 4:19]
Ironically, Lucifer and his allies do have a divine purpose. It is to wreak havoc in the lives of the disobedient children and to challenge the brethren of Christ. Moses writes,
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.
[Gen 3:15]
Apostle Paul writes,
But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
[Gal 4:4-7]
King Solomon writes,
The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
[Pro 16:4]
Apostle Paul writes,
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
[II Tim 3:12]
The Lord Jesus said,
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake.
Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: For great is your reward in heaven: For so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
[Mt 5:10-12]
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: For the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
[Mt 6:34]
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:
[Jn 10:10a]
These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
[Jn 16:33]
The following are 4 BENEFITS of being challenged by evil as brethren of Christ.
1. They help to perfect godly character and prepare them for the weightier blessings of THE LORD. Apostle James writes,
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting <or lacking> nothing <that Yahweh wants you to have>.
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which The Lord hath promised to them that love Him.
[Jam 1:2-4, 12]
2. These challenges drive the Elect out of complacency into higher dimensions of honor, glory, and grace. Apostle Peter writes,
But the God of all grace, Who hath called us unto His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
[I Pet 5:10]
3. They help them to maintain humility as they inherit increased divine revelation. Apostle Paul writes,
And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
[II Cor 12:7]
4. Challenges of evil present opportunities for Yahweh to show HIMSELF great in their behalf because their hearts are whole toward HIM.
Hanani the Seer said to Asa king of Israel, concerning those who wholeheartedly trust in Yahweh,
For the eyes of The Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect <or whole>, toward Him.
[II Chr 16:9]
While the mode of evil entities is divinely set at kill, steal, and destroy, that of Jesus Christ is set at empowering His brethren to overcome evil through their faith-filled obedience to Yahweh’s commandments. Apostle John writes,
For this is the love of God, that we keep His Commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.
[I Jn 5:3]
Apostle Paul writes,
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ <the Lord of Righteousness>, and maketh manifest the savor of His knowledge by us in every place.
[II Cor 2:14]
It is important to know that Yahweh will never allow more upon HIS Elect then they can bear. Apostle Paul writes,
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
[I Cor 10:13]
Since their fall from grace, Lucifer and all fallen angels have been tasked to defame and prove mortals unworthy of Yahweh’s favor. They use many devices of Temptation to seduce mortals into willfully rejecting Yahweh's invitation back into divine worship. To more efficiently initiate their attempts, they present themselves to mortals as FRIENDS, then engage them with flattering lies that appeal to their natural and carnal senses. Let one consider the various definitions of the word FRIEND.
*friend English refers to one who is…
1. giving assistance
2. attached to another by a feeling of affection or personal regard
3. a patron and supporter
4. on good terms with another
5. not hostile and a member of the same nation, party etc.
In ancient Hebrew there are 6 words that refer to the word FRIEND or FRIENDS.
*friend Hb #157 ahab (aw-hab) it means to have affection for sexually or otherwise
*friend Hb #441 alluwph (al-loof) it is someone who is considered…
1. a familiar, chief and gentle friend
2. captain, governor or guide
*friend Hb #4828 merea (may-ray-ah) it is a companion, which is a person who is…
1. frequently in the company of
2. associates with or accompanies another
3. a companion who is employed to accompany, assist or live with another in the capacity of a helpful friend
4. a mate or a match for something
5. a manual or guide, often referred to as spirit guides in paganism
In unrighteousness, this is what Lucifer and all agents of evil are to mortals who live according to the dictates of their carnal nature. In righteousness, it is what Christ the Word and the Holy Ghost is to mortals who are actually born again. Apostle Paul writes,
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ he is none of His.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
The Spirit beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
[Rm 8:5-9, 14, 16]
*friend Hb #4962 math (math) it is an adult as of full-length, likely denoting maturity and a man in the plural, denoting more than one in company
MATH is an ancient Hebrew word that is found in the Book of Job. It refers to those with whom one shared a long-term friendship, but who later turned their backs on them and became their haters. The Old Testament notes,
All my inward <or close> friends abhorred me: and they whom I loved are turned against me.
[Job 19:19]
MATH is a befitting description for Lucifer because he was once an ANOINTED CHERUB who became the chief enemy of all mortals.
*friend Hb #7453 rea (ray-ah) it is a close associate more or less
*friend Hb #7462 ra’ah (raw-aw) it means to…
1. feed, graze, pasture, rule and tend to
2. use as, associate with and keep as a friend
3. pastor or shepherd
4. devour, eat up, evil entreat, wander and waste
There are 4 ancient Greek words that refer to the word FRIEND.
*friend Gk #2083 hetairos (het-ah-ee-ros) it is a fellow, friend and comrade, which is a person who…
1. shares in one's activities and occupation
2. is a companion or associate
3. is a fellow member of a fraternity group, political party, etc.
*friend Gk #5384 philos (fee-los) it is a fond and friendly associate or neighbor
Devils who pose as FRIENDS practice ANTHROPPARESKOS (anth-ro-par-es-kos) Gk #441, which is man-courting, fawning and men-pleasing. They do this to woo one’s carnal nature, which exists within every mortal. Jesus Christ clarified that His words do nothing for one’s carnal nature. He said,
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
[Jn 6:63]
As previously mentioned, the carnal nature is fathered by Lucifer and is not and cannot be subject to divine rule. If this spawn of Lucifer is permitted to reign, it will bring forth death to one's holistic being, meaning their terrestrial or natural body, their seat of sentiment or their soul body, and their spirit body, referring to their mind or seat of intellect. Apostle Paul writes,
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that He that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
[Gal 6:7-9]
*friend Gk #3982 peitho (pi-tho) it is a verb and means to…
1. convince by argument, true or false
2. pacify or conciliate by other fair means
3. assent to evidence of authority
4. rely on by inward certainty
5. agree and assure
6. believe in, be or become confident in
7. make a friend, trust and obey
8. persuade, yield to and have confidence in
PEETHO is what Christ and Lucifer expect of those who designate them as their personal FRIEND. In regard to designating prospects as personal FRIENDS, there is the Greek word SOCE.
*friend Gk #4674 sos (soce) it is an adjective which means thine, thine own, and thy friend
One must designate their personal FRIENDS wisely, and know that no one can intimately engage both the Lord of Righteousness and the lord of unrighteousness.
Jesus Christ said,
This is My commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
[Mt 15:12-14, 17]
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon.
[Mt 6:24]
Lucifer understands how to manipulate the soul body, which is the seat of human emotions. In many ways he makes his admirers feel like he appreciates, values, and even loves them. None of which he could ever do per his innate nature as a liar, murderer, and father of the carnal nature.
