Faith in The Divine Establishes True Righteousness

In [Rm 4:1-25; 5:6-11] Apostle Paul addresses the origin of Abraham’s righteousness. He reiterates that it was not based on the volume of The Mosaic Law but established by The Law of Faith. He expounds upon the benefits inherited the moment Yahweh JUSTIFIES one because of their FAITH in Christ.

Apostle Paul notes FOUR BENEFITS invoked upon born-again believers because of their FAITH.

1. RECONCILIATION, ATONMENT and PEACE with Yahweh through Christ. [Rm 5:1, 6-10]

2. Access into divine GRACE wherein they STAND and REJOICE in the HOPE of Yahweh’s GLORY. [Rm 5:2]

*grace Gk #5485 charis (khar-ece) it is gratitude and graciousness as gratifying of manner or act and divine influence upon the heart and its reflection in one’s life

*rejoice/glory Gk #2744 kauchaomai (kow-khah-om-ahee) it means to brag or speak boastfully in a good or a bad sense

3. The ability to GLORY in TRIBULATION, KNOWING that it WORKETH PATIENCE, which WORKETH EXPERIENCE, which WORKETH HOPE that makes one unashamed because the LOVE of THE LORD is shed abroad in their HEART by the Holy Ghost. [Rm 5: 3-5]

TRIBULATION is what Christians endure due to their FAITH and allegiance to Jesus Christ. The ability to adjust their attitude to a positive mode was essential during First Century Rome, especially when facing death. [Mt 5:11, 12; 6:34; I Pet 4:12-19; I Cor 10:13; Jn 16:33] In the midst of great persecution, Christians remain able to SEE and KNOW that when Yahweh permits such encounters, it is for a glorious purpose. [Ps 37:23, 24]

*love Gk #26 agape (ag-ap-pay) it is affection, benevolence, love-feasts or feasts of charity

This pertains to Yahweh’s LOVE not mortal love. It is the highest of honors to be used of THE LORD to be a genuine oracle and vessel of HIS LOVE. Those who are privileged to have HIS GLORY reflect through them must beware never to take credit for it as the praise always belongs to HIM.

4. SALVATION from Yahweh’s WRATH through Jesus Christ. [Rm 5:9; St Jn 3:36]

*wrath Gk #3709 orge (or-gay) it is desire as reaching forth or as excitement of the mind, violent passion, justifiable abhorrence and punishment

In [Rm 5:12, 13] Apostle Paul explains that mortals inherited enslavement to the power of sin from Adam. [Gen 2:9, 17; 3:1-6] Prior to being infected with sin, mortals knew nothing of it or death. Because they were not of aware of them, they had no power or influence over them. Just by receiving knowledge of sin mortals invited its power and death into their mortal experience. To be and remain liberated from the power of sin, one must be daily renewed in mind by the living words of Jesus Christ. [St Jn 4:23, 24; 6:65; 8:31, 32, 36; 12:45-50; Mt 11:28-30; I Jn 3:8-10] Per Christ, there is no other way to be liberated from the power of sin within. This is what makes His doctrine unique from all others. [Jn 14:6] Apostle Paul notes that although sin entered the terrestrial realm, it was not initially IMPUTED to mortals because there was no official LAW in place whereby it could be IMPUTED.

In [Rm 5:13, 14] Apostle Paul notes that DEATH’S REIGN affected even those who had not SINNED after the SIMILITUDE of ADAM’S TRANSGRESSION.

THANATOS per this passage, is likely being used by Apostle Paul to describe the deadly and powerful influence of sin that REIGNED during generations that were born from the time of Adam to Moses.

As Apostle Paul refers specifically to Adam’s TRANSGRESSION, the mark missed was his decision to partake of the forbidden knowledge, which invoked DEATH to the pure and innocent nature initially ascribed to mortals. In [Heb 5:15-21] the condemnation noted by Christ in Apostle John’s Gospel was invoked upon all mortals when Adam committed this TRANSGRESSION. [St Jn 3:16-20, 19] Apostle Paul then reiterates that Jesus Christ is the Remedy of Adam’s TRANSGRESSION.
