The FLESH NATURE is the element of all mortals that is liable to die. In [Rm 8:9-13] Apostle Paul clarifies that only those who have the Holy Ghost dwelling within them belong to Jesus Christ. He notes that only those who are LED by the Holy Ghost are SONS of Yahweh. These are they who have been chosen and given to Christ by Yahweh, WHO recognizes them as people who are wholehearted toward HIM and are committed to the fulfillment of HIS will. [St Jn 1:12, 13; 6:37-40, 44, 45, 65; Mk 3:31-35; I Jn 2:15-17]

FEAR in this passage denotes terror of something that keeps or places one back into SLAVERY to SIN. It likely relates to the FEAR of experiencing certain persecutions, which many Christians endured during First Century Rome. One such FEAR was being coerced into idol worship, which some governing rulers mandated in their realms. [Rm 8:18] Such persecution is likely why Apostle Paul wrote,
For I reckon that the SUFFERINGS of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

In [Rm 8:15; St Jn 1:11-13; Mk 14:36; Gal 4:6; Jn 20:17] Apostle Paul states that the SONS of GOD have not RECEIVED the SPIRIT of BONDAGE again to FEAR but the SPIRIT of ADOPTION, which is the Holy Ghost, whereby they cry ABBA, FATHER.

In [Rm 5:16, 17] Apostle Paul notes that the Holy Ghost, Who again is the SPIRIT of ADOPTION, gives assurance to the SPIRITS or MINDS of Yahweh’s SONS that they are indeed HIS spiritual offspring. In so being, they are HIS HEIRS and JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus Christ, if they SUFFER and be GLORIFIED with Christ. In [Rm 8:19-22, 39; Gen 3:19; Eccl 12:7] Apostle Paul expounds upon a CREATURE that EARNESTLY EXPECTS and WAITS for the MANIFESTATION of the SONS of GOD. This CREATURE travailed in pain until Yahweh’s spiritually regenerated SONS graced its terrain again. When sin entered its realm, it became dreadfully disgraced. Like all creatures in their original formation, the earth knew nothing of sin nor the consequences thereof. It and all creatures thereupon were in their original formation only good. [Gen 1] However, the CREATURE was cognizant of the coming of the SONS of GOD and maintained its INTENSE ANTICIPATION of their MANIFESTATION. Because Jesus Christ completed His work at Calvary, these SONS are now being MANIFESTED as anticipated by the CREATURE, which brings relief to its pains. In [Rm 8:23-28] Apostle Paul explains that the mortal body is an extension of the CREATURE, which is the earth. This coincides with the idea of human creation per Moses’s account. [Gen 2:7] Indeed, mortals were initially given dominion over the earth to care for it. While sin and death reigned for many generations, the power of life and restoration are given to the SONS of GOD per the finished work of Christ at Calvary. For them, all THINGS WORK together for GOOD because they genuinely LOVE Yahweh and are the CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE.

Thus, the Elect are to know that their work of carrying out the purpose of GOD is likened to shew bread before HIM in HIS holy temple, which they are. [I Cor 3:17] In [Rm 8:29] Apostle Paul explains that Yahweh FOREKNEW and PREDESTINATED them to be CONFORMED to the IMAGE of Christ the Word. Therefore, no experience they encounter is without reason or goes beyond their ability to bear. [Rm 8:35-39; Mt 6:34; I Cor 10:13; I Pet 4:12-19]
