The Error of Israel

In [Rm 9:1-5, 27-29, 31-33] Apostle Paul expresses his grief for the Hebrews who rebelled against THE LORD, HIS Christ and those who embraced The Christian Faith. Given all the information they inherited from Yahweh’s Scribes and Prophets, they still failed to embrace Christ as the new and only acceptable Way of Righteousness per Yahweh’s perspective. In fact, they failed to completely keep the foundational principle of The Mosaic Law which is the practice of genuine love toward all people. Instead, they put aside divine principles to enforce traditions of men like some of their forefathers. [Isa 64:6; Hos 4:6; Mk 7:6-13; Mt 22:37-40; 23:23] Apostle Paul also touches on how Yahweh executes according to HIS will. He explains that there are Vessels of Wrath which are fit for destruction and Vessels of Mercy which are prepared for glory. This gives credence to the idea of mortals whose names are either retained in or blotted from The Book of Life, from the foundation of the world. [Rm 9:6-23; Exo 32:30-33; Ps 139:16; Rev 13:8; 17:8; 20:11-15] Apostle John also makes mention of these two classes. [I Jn 3:8-10]. The royal family and priesthood of Yahweh consists of people from nations, tribes and tongues. These Elect few were chosen of Yahweh’s will to be born-again of HIS Word and Spirit from the foundation of the world. [Rm 9:24-26, 30, 33; 8:28-30; St Jn 1:1-4, 12-14]

Apostle Paul’s Supplication for Israel

In [Rm 10:1] Apostle Paul notes that Israel had a major challenge which caused them to be out of order with THE LORD. He said that his heart’s desire and prayer was that they would be SAVED.

In [Rm 10:2] Apostle Paul notes that he bears THEM/ISRAEL RECORD that they DO have a ZEAL for Yahweh but not according to KNOWLEDGE. Again, he makes it SPECIFIC to the BLOODLINE of the nation of Israel.

In [Rm 10:3, 4] Apostle Paul notes that Israel, like many citizens of all nations, forsake Yahweh’s RIGHTEOUSNESS to establish their own. Thus, failing to SUBMIT to and BELIEVE in Christ, Who is become the established RIGHTEOUSNESS for all people per Yahweh’s perspective. [Isa 64:6; Hos 4:6; Rm 2:7-11; 3:22-26; I Cor 1:30] This simple yet profound truth is what Lucifer and satanic powers strive to pervert in the mind of every mortal. [Gen 3:1-6; Mt 7:15-20; II Cor 11:3, 4, 13-15; 24:5, 11, 24; Gal 1:6-9; II Cor 4:3; II Jn vs 7-11; 4:1-6]

In [Rm 10:5-13] Apostle Paul explains that Moses described the RIGHTEOUSNESS that was once established by practicing The Mosaic Laws. At that time, it was understood that life was invoked and maintained thereby. However, there came a time when such practice became powerless in obtaining the RIGHTEOUSNESS that was acceptable to Yahweh. This RIGHTEOUSNESS is now accessible by BELIEF and verbal CONFESSION of the Word of Faith, which is divinely set in the mouth of EVERY mortal. Thus, EVERY person has the ability to invoke Yahweh’s acceptable RIGHTEOUSNESS and eternal SALVATION for themselves. [Rm 10:8-10, 17; Pro 18:4-8, 20, 21; Job 22:28; Mt 12:34-37] From the beginning it was known that Yahweh’s extension of HIMSELF makes one a living soul. [Gen 2:7] Yahweh is the SOURCE in which all people live, move and have their being. [Act 17:28] However, this divine extension can only last approximately 120 years. [Gen 6:3] Thus, there is an appointed time when Yahweh will release the breath of life from the mortal. When that occurs the physical body dissolves back to the dust from which it was formed, leaving only the mortal soul to eternally exist in whatever state it transitioned in to immortality. [Eccl 12:6, 7] If that state was in RIGHTEOUSNESS before Yahweh, then its eternal state will be a blissful one. If the soul transitioned to immortality without the acceptable RIGHTEOUSNESS of Yahweh, then its eternal state will be most unfortunate.
Per Christ, there is only one real reason why a mortal soul inherits the unfortunate eternity. That reason was their failure to accept the blissful eternity by embracing and nurturing the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD, which is Jesus Christ. [St Jn 3:19] No one fully understands the nature, thoughts and ways of THE DIVINE GODHEAD. [Isa 55:8, 9] However, all mortals do recognize the reality and sovereignty of THEIR existence because THEY have revealed it to them in the necessary degree. [Rm 1:18-21] Therefore, no mortal can play dumb about this revelation and their opportunity to do what is right. [Pro 24:12; Ps 14:1] In regard to Jesus Christ, Apostle Paul poses three questions writing,

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?
[Rm 10:14]

The three-fold question emphasizes how one HEARS and BELIEVES on Christ the Messiah. If one HEARS erroneously of Christ Jesus, they will likely BELIEVE erroneously. So then, the resolution are messengers who are truly sent by Yahweh to publish The Good News about Jesus the true Christ. [Rm 10:15; Acts 4:12; 17:29-31] Jesus Christ promised liberation from all lying persuasions when continuance in His Word is practiced. [Jn 6:63; 8:31, 32, 36] Apostle Paul concludes this portion of his letter noting that while The Gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached throughout the world, not all will embrace Christ, including those of Hebrew descent. Thus, they will fail to inherit the only acceptable RIGHTEOUSNESS, by which one will secure eternal salvation on The Final Day of Judgment. [Rm 10:16, 18-21]

The Remnant of Israel

In [Rm 11:1-5] Apostle Paul expounds upon the remnant of Israel according to the ELECTION of GRACE. He utilizes the experience of Prophet Elijah when he believed himself to be the last prophet of Yahweh left alive when Jezebel, wife of the Hebrew King Ahab, purposed to kill all of THE LORD’S prophets after her pagan priests were slaughtered. Yahweh advised Elijah that HE had 7000 prophets like himself who had not bowed the knee or kissed Jezebel’s idols. [I King 19]
This event is an example of the faithful remnant that will always be reserved for exclusive worship unto THE LORD. This remnant will always be in place per Yahweh’s ELECTION of GRACE.

Divine Worship

In [Rm 12:1] Apostle Paul admonishes brethren of Christ to by the MERCIES of Yahweh, PRESENT their BODIES a living SACRIFICE that is HOLY and ACCEPTABLE to HIM, as it is their REASONABLE SERVICE unto HIM.

In [Rm 12:2] Apostle Paul notes that one must no longer be CONFORMED to this WORLD but TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of their MIND, to PROVE what THE LORD’S GOOD, ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT WILL is. Thus, one cannot realize this truth if they are not chosen and given of Yahweh the MIND to worship HIM with RENEWED intellect and in reality. [Dan 12:1, 3, 10; Mt 22:37, 38; St Jn 4:23, 24; 6:37-40 44, 45, 65; Rm 8:30; II Tim 2:15, 24-26]

Yahweh does not want to destroy MINDS infected by sin but to RENOVATE them BACK to the condition wherein they can function in divine worship again. This indeed is their original purpose and duty. [Eccl 12:13] In [Rm 12:3] Apostle Paul admonishes born-again believers to not think of themselves more highly than they should. They are to think SOBERLY of themselves according to the MEASURE of FAITH imparted unto them from THE LORD. This is a wonderful burden to bear because Yahweh knows them, their tendencies, limitations, strengths and weaknesses. HE gives them a MEASURE of FAITH that is suitable for their unique self. This MEASURE of FAITH does increase as they mature in Christ. [Rm 1:17] It is healthy to recognize one’s boundaries and limitations, as divine worship involves dealing with self per the RENEWED condition of one’s MIND by Christ the Word and in REALITY. [St Jn 4:23, 24] This mode of THINKING helps to ensure that one’s carnal nature is always checked and not glorified in the sight of THE LORD. [Jer 9:23, 24; Mt 26:41; Rm 6:19; I Cor 1:27-31; 9:24-27; II Cor 12:7-10; Rev 3:7-10]

Not permitting one’s MIND to be in a SOBER state is insanity. The Elect of Yahweh are given the ability secure their MIND from insanity by controlling how and what they THINK, especially about themselves. Meditating on THE LORD, Christ HIS Word, in the Holy Ghost aids them in doing so. [Isa 26:3; Jn 6:63; 8:31, 32, 36; 14:26, 27; 16:13-15]

The Elect of GOD respond and react to challenges according to the DEGREE of FAITH they have within. Whatever THE LORD expects of them, HE knows they can produce because HE provides them with the MEASURE of FAITH needed to produce it.
