In [Eph 4:17-19] Apostle Paul makes a statement that is true for all who are not spiritually born-again.
1. They WALK in the VANITY of their MIND.

Such is the condition of all unregenerate MINDS per the sin of Adam. [Gen 2:9, 17; 3:1-6]
2. They have their UNDERSTANDING DARKENED. [II Cor 4:3; 10:4, 5]

UNREPENTANT and SPIRITUALLY UNREGENERATE MINDS give themselves to wickedness with no regret when they forsake the call to righteousness. By this, they willingly give satanic forces room in their lives to manifest limitless expressions wrongdoing with no regard for the consequences. [St Jn 3:19, 36; Rm 8:5-7; Gal 6:7, 8] The WORK they give themselves to is the curse and course of sin, which can only render death. [Isa 1:18-20; Eze 18: 4, 19-23, 31, 32; Rm 1:18-32; 6:16, 23] In [Eph 4:18, 21] The opportunity of spiritual restoration is available to those who have HEARD and are compliant to Yahweh’s principles TAUGHT by HIS scribes and prophets. In [Eph 4:22-32] Apostle Paul notes that this specific INSTRUCTION includes the following.
1. PUT OFF concerning the former CONVERSATION the old man which is CORRUPT per its DECEITFUL LUSTS. [Eph 4:22]

Per this discourse SPIRIT or PNEUMA, is referring to the mortal intellect and what influences it. Yahweh desires to RENEW the SPIRIT of every UNREGENERATE MIND. When allowed to do so, the LIFE HE desires to restore to all mortals will become evident within their SPIRIT NATURE. [Jn 10:10b]
3. PUT ON the NEW MAN, which AFTER GOD is CREATED in RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUE HOLINESS. [Eph 4:24]

Every born-again believer is personally responsible for PUTTING OFF from themselves their OLD MAN and keeping on THE NEW. This involves the following actions.
1. Putting away LYING and SPEAK the TRUTH to their NEIGHBOR realizing that they are MEMBERS one of another for they are MEMBERS of the same Body. [Eph 4:25, 29]

One can act a lie as well as tell one. LYING is inclusive of any type of pretentiousness and hypocrisy. Per Apostle John, those who practice it will inherit The Second Death. [Rev 21:8]

Per King Solomon, the power of life and death is in the mortal tongue. [Pro 18:21] Thus, it does matter what one SPEAKS TO or ABOUT their NEIGHBOR. Christ did advise that one’s words are being monitored by THE LORD. [Mt 12:37] Born-again believers are only to COMMUNICATE in a manner that is TRUE to what they BELIEVE and PROFESS. [Mt 5:19]
2. Be ANGRY and SIN not, do not allow the sun to go down on their WRATH. [Eph 4:26, 31]

4. Let him that STOLE STEAL no more choosing rather to LABOUR WORKING with his own hands that which is GOOD so he can GIVE to him THAT NEEDETH. [Eph 4:28]

6. Let only GOOD COMMUNICATION proceed out of your mouth that it might EDIFY and MINISTER GRACE to the hearers. [Eph 4:29, 25]

One’s opinion about another means nothing when it comes to administering the WORD of THE LORD. It is Yahweh’s opinion that matters. Thus, those who claim to be spokespersons for HIM must guard their TONGUE and TONE wisely lest they be found guilty of publishing CORRUPT COMMUNICATION.
7. GRIEVE NOT the Holy Ghost by Whom they are SEALED to the DAY OF REDEMPTION. [Eph 4:30; 1:11; Rm 8:16]

8. Apostle Paul concludes with the task of PUTTING AWAY BITTERNESS, CLAMOUR and MALICE. [Eph 4:31, 26, 29]
