Letter of Apostle Paul – Ephesians
An Intimate Review

In [Eph 1:13, 14] Apostle Paul expounds upon the Holy Ghost being the SEAL and EARNEST of born-again believers writing,

In Whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye HEARD the Word of Truth, the gospel of your salvation in Whom also, after that ye believed, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise.
Which is the EARNEST of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS glory.
[Eph 1:13, 14]

This refers to what is already PURCHASED. While there are many good messages, only the message of Jesus Christ can initiate eternal salvation when mixed with genuine FAITH. The Holy Ghost is THE PROOF OF PURCHASE or divine RECEIPT issued by Yahweh that proves one’s rightful INHERITANCE as HIS son. In fact, those who do not have the Holy Ghost do not belong to Jesus Christ. [Rm 8:9] The Holy Ghost is only imparted to them who believe on Christ as the scriptures have said and are chosen to be witnesses of His Testimony. [Jn 7:37-39; Acts 1:8] The Holy Ghost is required to receive and recall divine insight. [Jn 14:26; 16:13; I Jn 2:18-29; 4:1-6; I Cor 2] Those who are perishing from Yahweh’s delightful presence have no need or desire to receive the Holy Ghost because they reject Christ and His Testimony. [St Jn 3:19, 36; I Cor 1:18] In [Eph 1:15] Apostle Paul notes that genuine born-again believers are recognized by the expression of their FAITH in Christ and LOVE for His brethren. [Jn 13:34, 35; I Jn 5:1-3]

In [Eph 1:16-19; Mt 6:9-15] Apostle Paul expounds upon the elements of effective prayer.

1. The SPIRIT of WISDOM and REVELATION in the KNOWLEDGE of THE LORD. [Eph 1:17]

2. That the EYES of our UNDERSTANDING BE ENLIGHTENED. [Eph 1:18a]

3. That we KNOW what is the HOPE of HIS (Yahweh’s) CALLING. [vs 18b]

4. That they KNOW what the RICHES of the GLORY of THE LORD’S INHERITANCE is in the SAINTS. [Eph 1:18c]

• literally money and possessions
• figuratively abundance and richness
• specifically valuable bestowment

• heirship, a possession and patrimony, which is heritage
• an estate inherited from one's father or ancestors
• any quality or characteristic inherited
• the aggregate of one's property
• the estate or endowment of a church or religious house

This is what born-again believers are in Yahweh’s perspective. Because Christ is become their eternal Hope, they are PURE as Christ is PURE in Yahweh’s eyes. [I Jn 3:1-3]

5. That they may KNOW what is the exceeding greatness of Yahweh’s POWER toward them who BELIEVE according to the WORKING of HIS mighty POWER. [Eph 1:19]

It is a realty that there are souls who chosen from the foundation of the world to worship THE LORD forever and ever.



Apostle Paul writes,

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.
For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of HIS Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom HE did predestinate, them HE also called: and whom HE called, them HE also justified; and whom HE justified, them HE also glorified.
[Rm 8:28-30]

It is also a reality that there are souls who cause their own names to be blotted from The Book of Life from the foundation of the earth because they forfeit salvation by denouncing Christ. They do so because they prefer elements of darkness rather than elements of Christ the Light. Jesus Christ said,

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
[St Jn 3:19, 20]

Apostle John writes,

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him <Lucifer>, whose names are not written in The Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
[Rev 13:8]

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in The Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
[Rev 17:8]

And whosoever was not found written in The Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
[Rev 20:15]
Although Yahweh loves and desires all souls to inherit abundant and eternal life through Christ, HE will not force them to receive it. Thus, by one’s own choice is their name preserved in or excluded from The Book of Life. Yahweh is the GOD OF THE LIVING and LIFE. [Mk 12:27] HE extends a portion of HIMSELF to all LIVING beings, namely mortals. HE keeps a Book of the names of every mortal HE has extended this portion of HIMSELF to. Therefore, everyone who ever experienced any length of animate life was written in HIS book. [Gen 2:7; Eccl 12:6, 7; Exo 20:3; 32:30-33; Eze 18: 19-23, 31, 32; Act 17:28] Yahweh declared through Moses,

Whosoever hath sinned against ME, him will I blot of out of MY book.
[Exo 32:33]

Yahweh also declared through Prophet Isaiah,

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before MINE eyes; cease to do evil;
Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith THE LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of THE LORD hath spoken it.
[Isa 1:16-20]

Prophet Amos writes,

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
[Amos 3:3]

King Solomon writes,

If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not HE that pondereth the heart consider it? And HE that keepeth thy soul, doth not HE know it? And shall not HE render to every man according to his works?
[Pro 24:12]
Apostle Paul writes,

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
[Rm 1:18, 19]

The BLESSED INHERITANCE only belongs to those who have chosen to receive and secure it by faith filled obedience to Jesus Christ. [Mt 11:27-30; St Jn 3:16-18, 20; 14:6; Heb 7:25] The Lord Jesus said,

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; If any man hear My voice and open the door I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with Me.
[Rev 3:20]

He also said,

If a man love Me, he will keep My words: and My Father will love him, and WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him.
He that loveth Me not keepeth not My sayings: and the word which ye hear is not Mine, but the Father’s which sent Me.
[Jn 14:23, 24]
