In [Eph 1:19, 20] Apostle Paul expounds upon the impartation of Yahweh’s power and working to HIS Elect. It was WROUGHT in Christ when HE resurrected Him from the dead then set Him at HIS RIGHT HAND in the HEAVENS. The evidence of this impartation is expressed in their lives. [Rm 1:16, 17; 10:9, 10]

Apostle Paul notes the honor bestowed upon Christ by Yahweh when HE promoted Him as the highest-ranking authority above all HIS servants writing,

Far above all PRINCIPALITY, and POWER, and MIGHT, and DOMINION, and every NAME that is named, not only in this WORLD, but also in that which is to come;
And hath put all things under His FEET, and gave Him to be the head over all things pertaining to the CHURCH.
Which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.

FEET or FOOT is figurative of one’s AUTHORITY. In this passage, Apostle Paul is referring to that which Yahweh delegated to Jesus Christ. [Gen 3:15]

Christ is the most hated AUTHORITY by those under Lucifer’s dominion. Thus, in times of persecution the members of His Church are to recall that because He is hated and was persecuted, they too will be hated and persecuted. [Jn 3:20; 7:7; 15:18-21, 23; Mt 5:11, 12; 6:34] However, they are to be of good cheer because Christ has already overcome His haters. [Jn 16:33] He assures that the gates of hell will never prevail against His Church. [Mt 16:18] Divine authority over satanic forces only belongs to them in Christ’s Name. [Lk 10:19, 20; Jn 14:12-14; 16:23-28] In fact, they are now as Christ was in their particular WORLDS. [Jn 14:12; I Jn 4:17] Yahweh gave Christ to be all things to them, not those who choose to remain captives of Lucifer. Their eternal inheritance was secured by Christ’s Blood from the foundation of the world. [Rm 8:28-30; St Jn 6:37-40, 44, 45; 17:9, 10, 14-16; Heb 2:9-18-28] Although satanic powers are set to kill, steal and destroy, they have no authority to freely wreak havoc in the lives of Yahweh’s Elect. While it is true that Yahweh loves all souls and wants them reconciled to HIM through Christ, there are many who chose to reject HIS call to salvation. [Eze 18:4,19-23; St Jn 3:18-20, 36; II Pet 3:9] By their own choosing, their names are removed from The Book of Life from the foundation of the world. [Rev 13:8; 17:8; 20:15] In [Eph 2:1] Apostle Paul reiterates the difference between souls who are chosen to worship Yahweh forever and ever and those who choose worship Lucifer. The benefits imparted to Yahweh worshipers are among many reasons why they are to remain thankful and praise THE LORD on a daily basis in the Name of Jesus Christ.

1. They were DEAD in their TRESPASSES and SINS but are now alive and well in Christ Jesus. [Eph 2:1]

2. They once WALKED according to the COURSE OF THE WORLD now governed by Lucifer, who is the PRINCE of the POWER of the AIR. Lucifer is also the SPIRIT that now WORKETH in the children of disobedience [Eph 2:2; Jn 15:1-5; II Cor 12:9]

Per this scripture, SPIRIT refers to Lucifer the chief of demons and evil spirits.

APEITHEIA (ap-i-thi-ah) or DISOBEDIENCE describes mortals who refuse to embrace Yahweh or HIS directives, although they are aware of HIS worthiness and sovereignty. [Rm 1:18, 19] King David writes,

The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt. They have done abominable works. There is none <of these foolish souls> that doeth good <in Yahweh’s perspective>.
[Ps 14:1]

Lucifer can only be fully ACTIVE and EFFICIENT in his WORKS through souls who are under his influence. [Rm 8:5-8; Jam 4:7; I Jn 3:8-10; 5:18] Although he has successfully deceived all nations, he knows that he has a limited time to rule over his dark kingdom. [Rev 12:9; Lk 10:19; Eph 6:11, 12]

3. The Elect are reminded of their former status as children of Yahweh’s wrath. Apostle Paul recognizes this also for himself writing,

Among whom also we all had our CONVERSATION in times past in the lusts of our FLESH, fulfilling the desires of the FLESH and of the MIND; and were by NATURE the children of WRATH, even as others.
[Eph 2:3]

Per this passage, Apostle Paul is referring to that part of human nature that became subject to the curse of sin due to Adam’s transgression. [Rm 3:23; 7:14-25; 8:5-7; I Jn 1:8-10]

4. The Elect are now recipients of Yahweh’s mercy and love, by which HE has quickened, raised and sat them up with Christ in HEAVENLY PLACES. HE did so even while they were in their sins for the purpose of SHEWING the riches of HIS grace and KINDNESS toward them. [Eph 2:4-9]

5. The Elect are the WORKMANSHIP of Yahweh CREATED and ordained to WALK in GOOD WORKS through Christ before their mortal lifetimes. [Eph 2:10]

In [Eph 2:11-22] the passage reiterates that while there is a tone of national favoritism to the Hebrew nation, Yahweh has no respect of persons. HE has always loved all children of earth equally. [St Jn 3:16; Rm 2:1-11] In fact, Apostle Paul reiterates that Yahweh’s CHURCH is comprised of born-again believers from many nations, tribes and tongues of the earth. It is indeed a spiritual and universal family that is regenerated and unified as one unit according to Yahweh’s will through Christ the Word and the Holy Ghost.
