Letter of Apostle Paul – Ephesians
An Intimate Review

In [Eph 4:1] Apostle Paul continues to expound AGAPE LOVE being the chief acquisition of the sons of GOD. He also touches on subsequent expectations of the Church. The passage suggests that every member of THE LORD’S household is CALLED to a VOCATION and is expected to WALK WORTHILY therein.

Per this passage, a VOCATION is an INVITATION to serve in a particular office within Yahweh’s Household. Those who are ROOTED IN, GROUNDED IN and FULLY COMPREHEND AGAPE LOVE should WALK WORTHILY in the office Yahweh INVITES them to SERVE in. While there are many good works one can do, their primary effort should be to do what Yahweh INVITES them to do. [Mt 25:14, 15] In fact, the fullest happiness and success of life is invoked by SERVING in the OFFICE Yahweh’s ordains one to SERVE in. THE LORD prospers those who do so because HE takes great pleasure in the success of HIS servants. [Ps 35:27] Per [Eph 4:2] WALKING WORTHY of one’s VOCATION involves doing so with other elements.


Apostle Paul writes,

With all LOWLINESS and MEEKNESS, with LONGSUFFERING, FORBEARING one another in LOVE;
Endeavoring to keep the UNITY of the Spirit in the BOND of PEACE.

Maintaining the UNITY that is established by the Holy Ghost within the household of faith is the responsibility of every member thereof. In fact, Yahweh’s Kingdom is one of love, joy and PEACE in the Holy Ghost. [Isa 26:3; Rm 14:17; Jn 14:27] No true born-again believer desires to war against the Holy Ghost or another Christian. In [Heb 4:4] Apostle Paul expounds upon the ONENESS of the HOLY GODHEAD and the Church writing,

There is ONE BODY, and ONE SPIRIT, even as ye are CALLED in ONE HOPE of your calling;
[Eph 4:4]

In [Eph 4:5] after clarifying that there is only ONE Church and ONE Holy Spirit, Apostle Paul notes that there is only ONE LORD, ONE FAITH and ONE BAPTISM.

Here, Apostle Paul is referring to Jesus Christ in that Yahweh as the FATHER OF ALL is mentioned in the coming verse. Christ Jesus is Who Yahweh currently appoints all power to. Thus, Yahweh has appointed Jesus the Christ as ONE SUPREME AUTHORITY, CONTROLLER and LORD over HIS creation. [Mt 28:18; Heb 1; Acts 17:30, 31]

Born-again believers are only obliged to adhere what Christ teaches regarding Yahweh, Himself and all things regarding the Church.

In Christendom, there is first a spiritual BAPTISM into the Church or Body of born-again believers. Then there is a formal water BAPTISM which openly expresses one’s conversion to the Christian Faith.

In [Eph 4:6] Apostle Paul sums up divine ONENESS by reiterating that there is but ONE GOD and FATHER of all WHO is above, in and through all. [I Cor 8:6; Acts 17:28; Jn 10:29; 13:16, 20; 14:28] In [Eph 4:7] Apostle Paul clarifies that each member of the Body of Christ is given GRACE according to the MEASURE of the GIFT of Christ.

Yahweh GRATIFIES HIMSELF by expressing loving-kindness, righteousness and judgment in the earth. [Jer 9:24] HE has no pleasure in the death of the wicked and has provided Christ as the Way into eternal life. [Eze 18:23, 32; Jn 14:6] HIS PLEASURE is what should be expressed through the lives of born-again believers. Each member of HIS Church possesses a unique MEASURE of HIS GRACE. THE LORD expects each member to express it per the capacity allotted them by the Holy Ghost. This is what pleases HIM. [Rm 12:3c]
Every member of the Church should consider The Parable of The Talents lest they fail to produce according to their MEASURE of GRACE. [Mt 25:14-30] Also, every member of the Church is admonished to maintain a high sense of urgency while being at work in the office Yahweh CALLS them to. [Rm 12:11; Heb 6:12] They are to keep their hand to that Gospel plough knowing that their labor of love in THE LORD is never in vain. [Lk 9:62; I Cor 15:58]
