In [Phil 3:1] Apostle Paul instructs born-again believers to REJOICE only in THE LORD and not be tricked into REJOICING in another per lying persuasion. [Acts 17:26-28]

*rejoice (1) Gk #5463 chairo (khar-ee-ro) it means to be full of cheer, calmly happy, well-off and as a salutation, “Be well!”

Per this definition, Christians are to always be comforted by and filled with words that inspire love and life. In [Phil 2:2] Apostle Paul emphasized REJOICING IN THE LORD at this time because there were many anti-Christ teachers propagating the re-institution or continuation of Judeo rituals that were not necessary for salvation through Christ. He warned the Elect to BEWARE of anti-Christ teachers and doctrines.

Apostle Paul admonished born-again believers to mark and avoid false teachers when they show up among them. Christ said they can be recognized by their fruit meaning their character and speech. [Mt 7:15-21; Rm 11:29; I Cor 11:3, 4, 13-15; I Jn 4:1-6] Apostle Paul likens them to DOGS, EVIL WORKERS and CONCISION.

DOGS are figurative of mortal devils that are trained to pursue weak-minded Christians, who are immature in discernment, knowledge and understanding of the scriptures and cannot effectively guard themselves from the influence of EVIL WORKERS. [Mt 24:24] Although it is challenging to sway a true born-again believer, Lucifer’s EVIL WORKERS are set to pursuit and seduce as many as they can back into darkness. [Mt 6:34; Isa 54:13, 16, 17] EVIL WORKERS are passionate about imparting their murderous lies. [Jn 10:10a] No matter how convincing anti-Christ teachers may be, the can always be overcome through faith filled obedience to Christ and His doctrine. [Jn 8:31, 32, 36; I Jn 4:1-6] In [Phil 3:2, 3] Apostle Paul advises born-again believers to beware of false teachers as they WORSHIP Yahweh with a MIND or SPIRIT that has been renewed by Christ. They are to REJOICE only in Christ and have no CONFIDENCE in their FLESH or CARNAL NATURE. [St Jn 1:1, 11-14; 4:23, 24; I Jn 5:7; Rev 19:13; I Cor 1:18-31; 2:4, 5; Rm 1:16, 17]

Christ Jesus clearly taught that Yahweh is a SPIRIT WHO only desires to be WORSHIPED by SPIRITS that are daily renewed by HIS Word. [St Jn 4:23, 24]

Per [Phil 3:3-7] FLESH refers to the spiritually unregenerate mortal. It is that part of human nature that is not and cannot be subject to divine rule. It is the part of every mortal that only seeks to pacify its own desires. [Rm 6:18; 7:14-25; 8:5-7] It is the infirmity inherited by all mortals as a result of Adam’s transgression. [Rm 3:23; Phil 3:19, 20; I Jn 1:8-10; 2:1, 2; 5:16, 17] The Elect are admonished to mortify the deeds of their FLESH NATURE, which can only be done by choosing to remain SUBJECT to Yahweh and RESIST Lucifer on a daily bases through the strength of Christ. [Mt 6:34; Rm 6; Jam 4:7; II Cor 12:9] In [Phil 3:8] Apostle Paul expounds upon the benefits gained by relinquishing temporal accolades to obtain and secure Christ.
