In his letter to the Christians in Rome, Apostle Paul notes that FAITH comes by HEARING and HEARING by the WORD of God. [Rm 10:14, 15, 17] Thus, it is not just any taught or spoken WORD but that which is specifically taught by Jesus Christ. Only the WORD of Christ can initiate and nurture divine FAITH and liberate the mortal mind from lying persuasions. [Jn 5:24, 25; 6:63, 68; 7:37-39; 8:31, 32, 36; 10:10b; II Tim 3:16-18] Only WORDS inspired by the Holy Ghost can effectively edify, administer grace and generate life to those who HEAR, believe and comply with them. [Isa 50:4; Eph 4:29; Jam 1:21-25] Only divine WORDS can empower one to deliver themself from the snare of devils, Lucifer being the chief. [II Tim 2:26]
Per Apostle Paul, genuine HEARING of the DIVINE GOSPEL generates the following gratuities.

In [Col 1:7, 9-12] Apostle Paul notes that because the Colossian Christians received these spiritual gratuities upon HEARING the WORD of TRUTH, he prayed that THE LORD would bestow upon them the following benefits.

In [Col 1:13, 14] Apostle Paul reiterates WHO Yahweh and HIS CHRIST are and what they have established on behalf of those who put their FAITH in THEM. Yahweh has DELIVERED them from the POWER of DARKNESS and TRANSLATED them into the KINGDOM of Christ, in Whom they now have REDEMPTION and forgiveness of sins through His BLOOD.
