Pt 2 - The Perversions of Devils

Jesus Christ teaches that all devils have the common goal to kill, steal, and destroy the wellbeing of mortals. He said,

The thief cometh not but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy;
[Jn 10:10a]

Therefore, knowledge about what they are and how they craft wiles against mortals is instrumental in effectively combating them in spiritual warfare.
Apostle Paul writes,

Finally, my brethren, be strong IN THE LORD, and in the power of HIS might.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[Eph 6:10, 12]

Per the English language a DEVIL is defined as…
1. Satan and the Devil as the Chief of evil spirits

The word MALIGNANT is associated with the word MALIGN, which is to speak evil of or slander another. MALIGNANT is also associated with the word MALICE, which is active ill will toward or desire to harm another.
MALICE is the practice of HATRED which is likened to MURDER in Yahweh’s perspective. Apostle John writes,

Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
[I Jn 3:15]

By definition, the word SUPERNATURAL is an adjective that describes what is not explainable by known forces or laws of the terrestrial or earthly realm. When SUPERNATURAL is further broken down one will note the prefix SUPER.
The word SUPER refers to that which is over and above, surpassing, greater or better than others of its kind, and additional. This is important to consider because mortals, or children of earth as Enoch describes them, are TRIUNE beings meaning they are divinely created with THREE BODIES. They have a SOUL BODY, SPIRIT BODY, and a TERRESTRIAL or EARTHLY BODY. Moses writes,

And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
[Gen 2:7]



In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
[Gen 3:19]

My spirit <breath of life> shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
[Gen 6:3]

King Solomon writes,

Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit <breath of life> shall return unto God WHO gave it.
[Eccl 12:7]

Apostle Paul writes,

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly <W-H-O-L-L-Y>: and I pray God your whole spiriy and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
[I Thes 5:23]

The body most active with the SUPERNATURAL REALM is the SOUL BODY. It houses the mental and emotional faculties of mortals. The SOUL BODY is what satanic forces seek to influence, as pacifications thereof are what humans desire the most during their mortal lifetime.

The Lord Jesus said,

Therefore, take no thought saying, What shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
(For after all these things do the Gentiles <all peoples generated> seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
[Mt 6:31, 32]


Also, in the word SUPERNATURAL is the word NATURAL. NATURAL describes that which is of or deals with nature, not artificial, innate and not acquired, true to nature, lifelike, normal, free from affectation and at ease. NATURAL refers to a thing’s actual state of being per its innate origin and design. By definition, the SPIRIT of a thing is its VITAL LIFE PRINCIPLE. It is regarded as separate from solid matter, which for human beings is their TERRESTRIAL or EARTHLY BODY with its innate functionality and frailties. The word SPIRIT also refers to one’s mental disposition, mood, vivacity, courageousness, enthusiastic loyalty, real meaning, and their pervading animate principle or characteristic quality. It is important to know that when mortals engage in conversation with evil spirits, they empower them to impress mental images into their consciousness that are devised to destroy them. They do this by leading them astray from their whole duty of worshipping Yahweh and into satanic worship through various forms of idolatry, sorcery, and witchcraft. The word DAIMON derives from the Greek word DAIO (dahee-o). DAIO (dahee-o) is the distribution of fortunes initiated by demonic forces in exchange for satanic worship. It is quite relevant to this discourse, as it is the primary practice employed by devils to seduce and keep mortals in rebellion against their HEAVENLY FATHER. It was first used in Eden and will continue to be used by satanic forces until their final demise.

Moses writes,

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yeah, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? <satanic forces are fully aware of Yahweh’s directives>
And the woman said unto the serpent <the first mistake of entertaining conversation with an evil entity>, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: <she clearly knew and understood Yahweh’s instruction>
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die <she also knew the consequence of disobeying Yahweh’s instruction>.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: <the first murderous lie>
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened <the origin of doublemindedness>, and ye shall be as gods <knowledgeable and wise ones>, knowing good and evil. <the first erroneous translation of divine directives, using an alleged benefit that mortals did not need being Yahweh’s Master Creation>
And when the woman saw <gave unnecessary attention to> that the tree was good for food <was edible>, and that it was pleasant to the eyes <appealed to her animalistic desires>, and a tree to be desired to make one wise <lust for forbidden insight>, she took of the fruit thereof <the first sin committed by touching the forbidden thing>, and did eat <the second sin by tasting and consuming the forbidden thing>, and gave also unto her husband with her <the first misuse of influence of a woman towards her man by motivating him to violate divine directives>; and he did eat <the first downfall of a man by yielding to the wicked enticement of a woman under satanic influence>.
And the eyes of them both were opened <after Adam the man partook of sin the pure single-minded nature of mortals died>, and they knew <recognized> that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons <they began to see their God-given glory as something that needed to be covered, and began to create their own coverings or righteousness, no longer recognizing that which Yahweh graced them with in their creation>.
[Gen 3:1-6]

In Job’s Wilderness Experience, Lucifer clearly expressed his conviction that most mortals can be swayed from divine worship and righteousness with DAIO. Per his dialogue with Yahweh when HE suggested Job for his challenge Lucifer said,

Doth Job fear God for naught?
Hast THOU not made an hedge about him, and about his house <family>, and about all that he hath on every side? THOU hast blessed the work of his hands <career>, and his substance <assets> is increased in the land.
But put forth THINE HAND now <grant permission for challenge from evil>, touch all that he hath, and he will curse THEE to THY FACE.
And THE LORD said unto Satan, Behold all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand <limited authority>. So Satan went forth from the presence of THE LORD <being granted permission from Yahweh to challenge Job as with any of HIS ELECT>.
[Job 1:9-12]



Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
But put forth THINE HAND now <grant permission for challenge from evil>, and touch his bones and his flesh <his physical body not his inner body>, and he will curse thee to THY FACE.
And THE LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life <Job’s mortality and again limited authority for Lucifer>.
[Job 2:4-6]

Lucifer attempted DAIO with Jesus Christ in His Wilderness Experience. His first enticement was with WORDS devised to cause Christ to doubt His Sonship to Yahweh saying,

IF Thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread <trickery to get Christ to obey him which would defy divine directives>.
Then the devil taketh Him up into the holy city, and setteth Him on a pinnacle of the temple <enticement with social status within a renowned place>.
And he said, IF Thou be the Son of God, cast Thyself down: for it is written, HE shall give HIS angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone <indicating knowledge of divine directives and misuse thereof as he did in Eden>
Again, the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto Him, all these things will I give thee, if Thou wilt fall down and worship me <enticement with the idea of owning great possessions, which Christ already owned being the Means of all creation, and disclosure of the real purpose for DAIO, which is satanic worship>.
[Mt 4: 3, 6, 8, 9]

Lucifer still does this today and will until his final demise. Unfortunately, many mortals throughout all generations fall prey to the devise of AVARICE per DAIO. While they will be challenged by satanic powers to some degree every day, the sons of GOD are admonished to guard their hearts against it by remaining wholeheartedly devoted to Yahweh WHO said,

Thou shalt have no other gods before ME.
[Exo 20:3]

Again, King Solomon writes,

Let us hear <absolutely know and understand> the conclusion of the whole matter <for mortals>: Fear God, and keep HIS commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.
[Eccl 12:13]

The Lord Jesus said,

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve <worship> God and mammon <Lucifer the god of avarice>
But seek ye first the kingdom of God <Christ the Word>, and HIS <acceptable> righteousness <which is Christ>; and all these things <necessities of the mortal life> SHALL BE added unto you <at the appointed time>.
Take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. <Why? Because…> Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
[Mt 6:24, 33, 34b]

The Lord Jesus also said,

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
[Mt 16:26]

The Lord Jesus goes on to say,

Take heed, and beware of covetousness <which is idolatry>: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
[Lk 12:15]







Apostle Paul writes,

But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the LOVE of money is the root of ALL evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred FROM the <divine> faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
[I Tim 6:6-10]

Apostle John writes,

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh <carnal nature>, and the lust of the eyes <doubleminded nature>, and the pride of life <unregenerate nature>, is not of the Father, but is of the world <that is under Lucifer’s influence>.
And the world <under Lucifer’s influence> passeth away, and the lust <forbidden desire> thereof: but he that doeth the will of God <which is to live abundantly through Christ the Word> abideth forever.
[I Jn 2:15-17]

Apostle John also writes,

And we <born-again believers> know <as we are given an unction within our new spirit nature> that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know HIM that is true, and we are in HIM that is true, even in HIS Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Little children <as one must be to enter into Yahweh’s kingdom>, keep yourselves from idols. Amen
[I Jn 5:20, 21]


Another word for DEVIL is #1228 diabolos (dee-ob-ol-os) which is a TRADUCER or one who slanders another by uttering lies to damage their reputation.
It is by this nature that Lucifer and all DEVILS speak and devise wiles against all mortals, be they unrighteous or righteous per Yahweh’s perspective. Thus, it is wise to acknowledge the reality of DEVILS and their innate nature, as it is what drives them to only craft temptations, that will sway mortals further away from righteous characteristics of the good nature they were created with. They do so by impressing within their minds perceptions of self that are contrary to how Yahweh perceives them, when they abide in the only acceptable Righteousness before HIM, which is Christ the Word. Apostle Paul writes,

But of HIM <Yahweh> are ye <born-again believers> in Christ Jesus, Who of God <THE FATHER> is made unto us wisdom, and RIGHTEOUSNESS, and sanctification, and redemption:
[I Cor 1:30]

For they <Israel and all nations> being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness <through manmade religions and traditions>, have not submitted themselves unto the Righteousness of God.
For Christ <the Word> is the end <or fulfillment> of the law for righteousness to everyone <including people of all nations> that believeth.
…The word is nigh thee <every person>, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the Word of Faith, which we <the Original Apostles and all True Witnesses of Christ> preach <or proclaim>;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
<Why?> For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[Rm 10:3, 4, 8-10]

Just as spoken words have power to NURTURE one’s self-perception, they can also DESTROY it. King Solomon writes,

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it <the power in the tongue> shall eat the fruit thereof.
[Pro 18:21]
