Perfectly Perfect
Pt 6 – Anger and Anxiety
By Lawrence DeMetrius

Satanic forces specialize in manipulating human emotions, namely anger and anxiety as they are the primary emotions that flair up the most when mortals do not get what they want, when and how they want it. The Holy Scriptures warn that unchecked anger and anxiety can invoke conduct that is detrimental to one’s holistic wellbeing. There are FIVE DIVINE PRINCIPLES that will help one to effectively deal with anger and anxiety.

1. Do not FRET or THINK about acting out of righteous character when trials of life come, especially when it appears that the wicked are prospering in spite of their blatant disregard of Yahweh and His directives. King David writes,

Fret not thyself because of evil doers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity.
Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for HIM: FRET NOT thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: FRET NOT thyself in any wise to do evil.
They <the sons of God> shall not be ashamed in the evil time <in times of testing>: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
I <King David> have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken <by Yahweh>, nor his seed begging bread.
But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: HE is their strength in the time of trouble <in the time of testing>.
And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: HE shall deliver them from the wicked <mortal and immortal>, and save them, <Why?> BECAUSE they trust in HIM.
[Ps 37:1, 7, 8, 19, 25, 39, 40]

2. Trust in Yahweh’s ability to do what HE said HE would do because HE can perform HIS word nor does HE have the ability to lie.

Moses writes,

God is not a man, that HE should lie; neither the son of man, that HE should repent: hath HE said, and shall HE not do it? Or hath HE spoken, and shall HE not make it good?
[Num 23:19]

3. Always HALLOW Yahweh as THE PRIMARY DELIGHT of the HEART. HIS children are HIS PRIMARY DELIGHT. Not only should HE be FIRST in their life but is to be acknowledged AS the life and length of their days because this is what HE is. THE LORD wants to be THE TREASURE THEIR HEART.

King David writes,

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and HE shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
[Ps 37:4]

The Lord Jesus instructs His Brethren to daily acknowledge Yahweh in this manner as no other in their life can do so. He said,

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, HALLOWED be THY NAME.
For where your treasure is, there will your HEART be also.
[Mt 6:9, 21]

4. Submit body, soul, spirit and personal will to THE LORD understanding that HE does fulfill the desires of the heart BUT only when they comply with HIS WILL. HE knows what is best for every individual. Christ teaches His Brethren to pray,

THY kingdom come. THY will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
[Mt 6:10]

This is definitely an acquired spiritual taste that must be imparted by Yahweh per Apostle Paul who writes,

For it is God which worketh in you <the born-again believer> to will and to do of HIS good pleasure.
[Phil 2:13]

Regarding such prayer and practice Apostle John writes,

And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask anything ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, HE heareth us:
And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM <because they comply to HIS WILL>.
[I Jn 5:14, 15]

5. Learn to be completely at rest in THE LORD while patiently awaiting HIS response. King David writes,

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for HIM:
[Ps 37:7a]

Apostle Paul writes,

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from HIS.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief <expressed by the Hebrews who fell in the wilderness of Zin>.
[Heb 4:9-11]

The Lord Jesus said,

In your patience possess ye your souls.
[Lk 21:19]

As exemplified in the Wilderness of Experience of Christ Jesus, satanic forces do have power to cause manifestations of temporal pacifications during one’s mortal lifetime. However, they only do so in exchange for loyal devotion to Lucifer. Such temporal manifestations are what they use to exert their influence in the terrestrial realm. In fact, satanic powers can do little to nothing with mortals who do not perceive temporal gains as valuable, as a heart that is wholly devoted to Yahweh. Per Apostle Paul, the Wise know that the wages of sin are always death and the gift of Yahweh is always life through Jesus Christ the Word. The Brethren of Christ understand that nothing is more valuable than the eternal salvation they have already inherited in Him. The Lord Jesus said,

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
[Mt 16:26]

While it is human to experience anger and anxiety at times, the Elect of God must never allow satanic forces to manipulate their mortal vulnerabilities to the point of rebellion against Yahweh and HIS will for their life. Apostle Paul writes,

Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.
Neither give place to the devil.
[Eph 4:26, 27]

Yahweh Worshipers are to remain confident in HIS ability to provide for them and RESIST the temptation of DEVILS at all costs. Apostle James writes,

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil <and his allies>, and he will flee from you.
[Jam 4:7]
