Eusebius’s Ecclesiastical History
An Intimate Review

Book 9 is entitled The Great Deliverance. It covers the reigning periods of Roman emperors Maximin, Maxentius, and Constantine. Eusebius writes of the last attempts of pagan emperors to reinstate Christian persecution. He tells of how sorcery, witchcraft, and avarice were used to seduce others into satanic worship by some government officials. This was an example of daio being practiced, which is demonically driven distribution of temporal riches and status in exchange for satanic worship. Eusebius writes of how false witnesses were employed to discredit Jesus Christ and His followers, which resulted in more martyrs. He reiterates that many people during these times regarded idolatry as righteousness and true piety. In fact, Greek gods were likened to gods of the air, which is a fitting description, as they were actually the dark powers and principalities of the air being worshiped as gods. [Eph 6:11, 12] Lucifer, also known as Gadreel per Enoch and Mastema per Jasher, has been the reigning ruler of this world since the great fall in Eden. He also orchestrated the fall of one third of heaven’s hosts. [Rev 12:4] The first 200 angels that fell are the fathers of evil spirits, which they generated per their fornication with 200 daughters of the earth. Instead of destroying them, per Enoch, Yahweh gave them the temporary task of wreaking havoc in the lives of all who oppose HIM. They are also permitted to persuade children of earth to worship fallen angels as gods. These are the only reasons why evil spirits engage mortals. It is always their attempt to kill, steal, and destroy what they can of mortals. [Mt 6:34; Jn 10:10] The reason why wickedness abounded on earth as it did prior to the Great Flood, is likely due to the immense number of evil spirits active on earth at that time. Per Jasher, Yahweh granted Mastema 10% of all evil spirits generated, to assist him in his work against the children of disobedience. So it is that 90% of evil spirits generated are dismissed to an abyss prepared for them. Only 10% of evil spirits can be at work amongst mortals at a time. However, when they come, they do so with full intent to kill, steal, and destroy what they can of mortals. This is why the sons of GOD are instructed to daily pray per Christ’s formula, utilizing their divine authority over them and all satanic powers. By not doing so, they can give room in their lives for evil spirits to inflict unnecessary havoc in their lives. [Lk 10:19] Again, Lucifer is known as Gadreel the Angel of War and Death, per Enoch’s account.
Not only was he once the chief director of praise toward Yahweh’s Throne, he was responsible for applying death and destruction to all that opposed THE LORD. Although he was dismissed from his duty as an anointed covering Cherub angel, his ability to apply death and destruction was not taken from him. The only mortals he is not permitted to destroy are those given to Christ by Yahweh. [Eno 69; St Jn 1:11-13; 6:37-40, 44, 45, 65; Heb 2:10-18] Therefore, it is wise to acknowledge that evil spirits do exist, and for an allotted season, do rule over the world. They do have divine authority to influence minds that willingly oppose Yahweh, HIS Christ, and divine directives. Jesus Christ and Apostle Paul expounds upon these evil powers. [Jn 12:31; 14:30; 16:11; Eph 2:2; 6:12]

The Lord Jesus specifically says of Lucifer…

…NOW shall the PRINCE of THIS WORLD be CAST OUT.
[Jn 12:31]

…for the PRINCE of THIS WORLD cometh, and hath nothing in Me.
[Jn 14:30]

…the PRINCE of THIS WORLD is JUDGED.
[Jn 16:11]

So then, of all wicked entities, Lucifer is the PRINCE or FIRST IN RANK who governs and directs all evil entities.

Conclusively, a WORLD is an ARRANGEMENT that anyone can create to fit whatever ORDER they desire it to be in.

ECKBALLO or CAST OUT is what Christ did to Lucifer and his influence, when He completed His work at Calvary. His sacrifice was for the benefit of all mortals, namely those who are predestined to become sons of GOD. [Rm 8:28-30]

Lucifer and his subordinates have already been judged. Christ teaches that the only reason mortal spirits remain under divine condemnation with Lucifer and his subordinates is because they choose to. [St Jn 3:18, 19, 36] As stated by Apostle Paul, there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. [Rm 8:1] Yahweh sent HIS Christ to be The Way out of eternal condemnation that was initially prepared for Lucifer and all fallen angels. [St Jn 3:16, 17]
