An Intimate Review
Pt 4 – Covering Chapters 73-91

Chapter 73 tells that Moses was a valiant warrior amongst The Cush Tribe to whom he ran at the age of 18 from the presence of Pharaoh. In fact, when he was 27, he began to reign as king over Cush and did so successfully for 40 years. [73:1] However, he did not engage sexually with the woman he was given as a wife being wholly submitted to Yahweh. This was so because Ham and his descendants were to serve as slaves to Shem and Japheth throughout all generations. [73:32-38] Historically speaking, all three of Noah’s sons, were Nubian as was he, although an albino born to Nubian parents. It is important to note per Enoch’s writing that the FOREVER PERIOD OF TIME does have an end. This curse concerning Ham’s descendants being slaves to Shem and Japheth, likely ended when Yahweh denounced generational curses during the days of Prophet Ezekiel. [Eze 18:19-23]
Chapters 74 and 75 give more history regarding Esau’s descendants. The valiant sons of Ephraim moved in disobedience, left Egypt before the allotted time trusting in their own strength and were utterly destroyed. All but 10 of 10,000 descendants of Joseph survived. [75:1-5, 17]
In the days of old, it was established that the supernatural might of Israel’s warriors was such that one could pursue 1000 and two 10,000.
Chapter 76 reports that Moses’s reign in Cush ended and the Queen’s son took the reign. [vs 4, 5] It is reiterated that the Egyptians are direct descendants of Ham. [vs 12] The affliction placed upon Pharaoh describes that revenge truly belongs to GOD. [vs 45, 59-62]
Chapters 77 and 78 tell of how Zipporah, the daughter of Reuel the Midianite was used of THE LORD to care for Moses during his 10-year imprisonment in Midian. They fell in love and were eventually married. [vs 26-51] Zipporah was a righteous woman who truly loved and worshiped Yahweh. Per The Book of Jasher she performed an act of wisdom that was a saving grace for Moses and her first-born son, whom Moses neglected to circumcise. To save both Moses and her son from the angel who sought occasion with Moses, she quickly circumcised the child herself. [78:8-10]
Chapter 77 tells of Moses’s Rod. It was actually a holy and treasured relic of Adam that bore Yahweh’s NAME. It represented Yahweh’s mercy and faithfulness to enable mortals to obey HIM again after having inherited the curse of sin due to Adam’s transgression. Those who carried The Rod were able to perform supernatural feats.
Chapter 79 tells of Moses’s experience at The Burning Bush. What actually brought him to the area was his pursuit after a baby goat that strayed away from its flock. [vs 1-12] The chapter speaks of his brother’s disdain for Zipporah and her children likely due to their ethnicity. Reuel her father became a devoted Yahweh Worshiper sometime after THE LORD delivered Israel out of Egypt. [vs 13-18; 82:5] Chapter 79 gives more information about The Rod of Adam with which more supernatural feats were performed to prove that Moses and Aaron were sent by Yahweh to relay a message specifically meant for the reigning Pharoah. [vs 19-24] The passage speaks of how this Pharaoh foolishly received counsel from witches. [vs 27] The passage expresses how witches do believe in Yahweh and HIS sovereign power. They are people who simply choose to entertain evil spirits and practice the art and science of witchcraft. [vs 34]
They do recognize when a person is endowed with the divine power of GOD. [vs 35-42] Also noted in this passage is that this generation of Egyptians, as did most nations of ancient times, kept official records of major occurrences in their country. They also kept a log of all the idols they worshipped. All of these nations did know of Yahweh and that HE was the primary GOD worshipped by the nation of Israel.
However, up until the time of this reigning Pharaoh, the Egyptians had not recorded Yahweh in their archives as a DEITY they officially recognized or formerly worshipped. As did most Gentile nations of ancient times, the Egyptians paid little to no regard to Yahweh even though they knew of HIM per the teachings of Enoch, Methuselah, Noah and Shem. [vs 43-47] Pharaoh’s attitude towards THE LORD’S instruction to release Israel so they could go worship HIM displayed the arrogance prevalent in most non-believers, namely those who are wealthy and powerful in this life. In fact, Pharaoh responded with two more years of harsher labor conditions for Israel, which Moses questioned THE LORD about. However, this was all a part of Yahweh’s plan to display HIS might not only to Pharaoh but to Israel and the Egyptian nation. [vs 48-57]
Chapter 80 reports that Yahweh sent Moses and Aaron back to Pharaoh 2 YEARS afterward. [vs 1, 2] Again, he refused the command of THE LORD, but this time his disobedience invoked infamous plagues upon himself and the Egyptian people. Yahweh also destroyed those of Israel who failed to trust HIM for their escape from Egypt and inheritance of The Land Promised to their forefathers. [vs 37] As noted in The Holy Bible these plagues were inclusive of the following.
1. Water being turned to or appearing as blood before the Egyptians.
2. Frogs coming forth from waters in Egypt including their own sweat.
3. Lice upon the people and beasts of Egypt.
4. Beasts of the field and creeping things that destroyed and irritated the Egyptians.
o There was even a giant octopus i.e., Sulanuth that came forth from the sea to unlock the buildings in which the Egyptians hid to escape the pestilences. [vs 19-21]
5. Boils upon the bodies of the Egyptians.
6. Hail and Fire rained down upon the Egyptians.
7. Locusts of every kind that devoured the vegetation left of the Egyptians, that were not destroyed by the beasts and creeping things of the field.
8. Three days of darkness that was so thick one could not see their own hands before their faces.
9. The death of the first born of every household in Egypt including the portraits and bones of the first born who were already dead were destroyed. However, The Pharaoh and his Firstborn Bathia survived The Passover. Bathia was spared due to her love and care for Moses during his tenure in The Royal House and Pharaoh because Yahweh wanted him to witness HIS might prior to his final demise by water. [vs 49-57]
All of this displayed that THE LORD is THE AVENGER of HIS people.
All who causes HIS Elect hurt, harm, and danger will be dealt with by Yahweh HIMSELF and will not escape HIS judgment. Therefore, Yahweh worshipers are never to seek revenge on their enemies. GOD does not forget. Jesus Christ reiterates this and so does Apostle Paul. [Mt 18:1-7; Rm 12:17-21; 14:11-13]
Chapter 81 commences with the exit of Israel from Egypt. Per Moses’s account Abraham’s children sojourned in Egypt for four generations. However, the last 210 of those years they were subjected to hard labor as slaves. [vs 1, 4] There were also people of other nationalities that fled with Israel out of Egypt. This gives credence to the idea that there were other nations who worshiped Yahweh as their GOD. [vs 2] The idea of Israel returning to Egypt after three days of worship to Yahweh was a fallacy, which the Egyptians discovered after five days of their exit from Egypt. It was the plan and work of THE LORD for the Egyptians to pursue Israel, so HE could kill all of their adult males by water. This was in response to their attempt to murder as many male Hebrew babies as they could by drowning them. The only male that lived was Pharaoh per Yahweh’s will at that time. [vs 40] THE LORD’S response to Moses as he held The Rod of Adam in hand, reveals that HE does not expect HIS people to cry out unto HIM to do what HE has enabled them to do for themselves. [vs 36]
Moses had Adam’s Rod in his grasp. Therefore, Yahweh expected him to use it to deliver himself and Israel from Egyptian dominance once and for all.
Chapter 82 tells that Yahweh provided The Ten Commandments to Israel three months after they left Egypt. [vs 6] Here again is a good place to note that there were already written principles of righteous living being taught on earth for all nations to know and obey. They were given through Cainan the Son of Enosh and Enoch the Son of Jared. [2:10-14, 37; 3] However, The Ten Commandments and the rest of The Mosaic Laws were additional instructions specifically meant for Israel to follow being Yahweh’s chosen nation. The chapter reiterates that idolatry is a death wish in Yahweh’s perspective. Those who worshiped the golden calf were made to drink the dust thereof and those who took part in crafting the idol killed each other with their own weaponry. [vs 18-20]
True teachers of Yahweh have always received their lesson plans from HIM. Another divine truth expressed in this passage is that gifts and calling of are without repentance. [Rm 11:29]

Yahweh has and will always expect obedience regardless of one’s giftings and ministerial calling. [Mt 5:19] HE does not change this expectation for any one as there is no respect of persons with HIM. [Rm 2:7-11] Proof of one’s true devotion to HIM is their obedience to HIS commands and practice of divine love, neither of which are predicated upon one’s charisma or ministerial calling. [Mt 7:21-23; I Jn 5:1-3; Eccl 12:13] The Book of Jasher notes that there were servants of GOD who did not inherit The Promised Land for various reasons. These were inclusive of Moses a major leader and Prophet, his brother Aaron the first High Priest in Israel, his nephews Nadab and Abihu Priests like their father Aaron, and his sister Miriam who was also a Prophet. Not to mention all those who died in the Wilderness of Zin per Moses’s account. [83:6, 31-33; 84:24, 30-32; 86:9-11]
Chapter 83 teaches that death can be the result of desiring less than what THE LORD desires to impart. [vs 26-29] Unbelief and disobedience can cause divine blessings to be forfeited. [vs 41-43]
Chapter 84 again tells of how God will punish a person for disrespecting the leaders HE has set in place to help one fulfill their divine destiny. [vs 1, 2] Concerning HIS servants THE LORD forewarns,
Touch not MINE anointed, and do MY prophets no harm.
[Ps 105:15]

Yahweh has always been adamant about this, and history has shown that HE will express HIS disdain for those who disrespect HIS servants in the most convincing ways.
Chapter 85 tells of how The Levites fought against and slaughtered the fearful amongst their own brethren. Fear is intolerable amongst true priests of Yahweh. It is also the first characteristic amongst mortal spirits who inherit The Second Death. [vs 1-8; Rev 21:8] The passage reiterates that divine strength is imparted to the righteous to please THE LORD. [Jn 15:1-5; 16:13, 33; Acts 1:8; Rm 7:24, 25; 8:1-4; 37; II Cor 12:9; Phil 4:13; I Jn 2:27] Yahweh is committed to showing HIMSELF great in their behalf because their hearts are whole toward HIM. [vs 21-27; II Chr 16:9; I Cor 13:10] Chapter 85 also confirms that some witches do have the ability to effectively curse some people. However, Yahweh does limit their abilities and will cancel their curses against certain people. [vs 48-50; Isa 54:16; Pro 16:4]
Again, HE has absolute control over all HIS creatures both evil and good. As displayed by the whorish daughters of Moab the passage speaks of how physical beauty, flattering speech and sex can be used to lead souls into the pathways of death. [vs 52-63; 86]
Chapter 87 records that Moses died on Mount Abarim in the land of Moab. [vs 9-11] Chapters 88 and 89 teach about cursed items and how they can negatively affect divine favor even amongst the people of God. [vs 9, 24-37] It tells of when Joshua commanded the sun to be still and THE LORD permitted it because HE fought on behalf of Israel. [vs 63-65; 89:8] The Land of Canaan actually had 31 kings all of which Israel defeated with help from THE LORD under Joshua’s leadership. [vs 42, 51]
Chapter 90 reports that Yahweh did permit a few idolatrous nations to remain in Canaan. [vs 34] It records that Joshua died at the age of 110. [vs 47, 48] Chapter 91 ends with admonishment to all who trust in THE LORD to let their hearts be of good courage.
