Engagement Through Christ the Beloved

Yahweh Worshippers are admonished to be engaged with Christ the Word by Whom they secure abundant and eternal life. He said,

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
[Jn 10:10]

Apostle Paul writes,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as HE hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before HIM in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to HIMSELF, according to the good pleasure of HIS will.
To the praise of the glory of HIS grace, wherein HE hath made us accepted in the Beloved.
[Eph 1:3-6]

Apostle John writes,

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know HIM that is true, and we are in HIM that is true, even in HIS Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
[I Jn 5:20]

Yahweh gives HIS sons the ability to will and do according to HIS good pleasure through HIS Christ. In so doing HE promises them spiritual perfection as brethren of Christ.



Apostle Paul writes,

Being confident of this very thing, that HE which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
[Phil 1:6]

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and do of HIS good pleasure.
[Phil 2:13]

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.
For whom HE did foreknow, HE also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of HIS Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover, whom HE did predestinate, them HE also called: and whom HE called, them HE also justified: and whom HE justified, them HE also glorified.
[Rm 8:28-30]

As the Elect of God entrust their holistic well-being to HIM through faith filled obedience to Christ the Word, HE empowers them to sever all relations that hinder their spiritual perfection and devotion to HIM. Apostle Paul writes,

Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; Who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
[Heb 12:1, 2]

Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
[I Cor 15:33]

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; and God hath said, I will dwell IN them, and walk IN them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith THE LORD, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall MY sons and daughters, saith the LORD ALMIGHTY.
[II Cor 6:14-18]

Per His dialogue with the rich young ruler, Christ Jesus expressed that all temporal assets relinquished to be wholeheartedly submitted to Yahweh will be restored 100-fold with eternal life. Per Apostle Mathew’s gospel, the Lord Jesus said to this rich young ruler,

If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow Me.
But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Then said Jesus unto His disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
…everyone that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My Name’s sake shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[Mt 19:21-24, 29]

The Lord Jesus also said,

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth; where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
[Mt 6:19-21, 24, 33]
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or, what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
[Mt 16:26]

Apostle John writes,

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
[I Jn 2:15-17]

Above all, THE LORD Yahweh has spoken a command that applies to all who desire to worship HIM. HE specifically said,

Thou shalt have no other gods before ME.
[Exo 20:3]

I am the LORD: that is MY name: and MY glory will I not give to another, neither MY praise to graven images.
[Isa 42:8]

As Yahweh offers to serve as GOD and FATHER of all who wholeheartedly worship HIM, let us practice sincere engagement with HIM through Christ the Beloved.
