Yahweh The Only True God

Yahweh Worshipers are admonished to keep themselves from idols. Idols are sources to which people look for security and guidance that can take the form of people, things, or associations. Apostle John writes,

Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
[I Jn 5:21]

The true Brethren of Christ are wholeheartedly devoted to no other but Yahweh as God. Yahweh said per Moses,

Thou shalt have no other gods before ME.
[Exo 20:3]

King Solomon indicates that wholehearted worship unto Yahweh is the primary purpose for all mortals. He writes,

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep HIS commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[Eccl 12:13]

All mortals are innately aware of Yahweh’s Existence and HIS expectation of righteous behavior. However, HE does not beg anyone for the wholehearted worship that is due to HIM as Supreme Creator. HE allots to every spirit freewill to worship as they choose. Nevertheless, from the most ancient of days, HE has been clear about the consequences inherited by those who choose to create and worship idols gods. The Scribe and Prophet Enoch writes,

I saw in my sleep what I will now say with a tongue of flesh and with the breath of my mouth: which THE GREAT ONE has given to men to convers therewith and understand with the heart. As HE has created and given to man the power of understanding the word of wisdom…
[Eno 14:3]
Apostle Paul writes,

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; For GOD hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of HIM from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even HIS eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
[Rm 1:18-21]

Yahweh declared through Moses regarding those who opt to worship other than HIMSELF,

Whosoever hath sinned against ME, him will I blot out of MY book.
[Exo 32: 33]

King Solomon writes,

I love them that love ME; and those that seek ME early shall find ME.
For whoso findeth ME findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.
But he that sinneth against ME wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate ME love death.
[Pro 8:17, 35, 36]

The Lord Jesus said,

He that believeth on Him <Christ> Is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For everyone that doeth evil, hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
[St Jn 3:19-21]
Apostle John writes,

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
[St Jn 3:36]

And I saw a great white throne, and HIM that sat on it, from WHOSE FACE the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is The Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the Second Death.
And whosoever was not found written in The Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
[Rev 20:11-15]

It has always been clear that double-mindedness has never been acceptable to Yahweh. It has always been the cause of forfeited blessings and jeopardized opportunity to be of service to THE LORD. Christians who fall back into double-mindedness become distasteful to Christ and puts them at risk of becoming completely disassociated from Him and His Father if they are not restored to single-mindedness. The Lord Jesus said,

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
[Mt 5:19, 20]


Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth; where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single; thy whole body shall be full of light.
But if thine eye be evil; thy whole body shall be full of darkness.
If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
[Mt 6:19-24]

And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot.
So then because thou are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
[Rev 3:14-19]

Apostle James writes,

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
[Jam 1:8]

Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
[Jam 4:8]
Those who mature in exclusive worship unto Yahweh progress into higher dimensions of faith and productivity. The Lord Jesus said,

For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much be required:
[Lk 12:48b]

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto My Father.
[Jn 14:12]

I am the Vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.
Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.
[Jn 15:5, 8]

Through the strength of Christ single-minded Christians are empowered to properly worship Yahweh, which is with an intellect that is daily renewed with HIS Word and in reality. Apostle John writes,

He <Christ> came unto His Own, and His Own received Him not.
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name:
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
[St Jn 1:11-13]

The Lord Jesus said,

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.
[St Jn 4:23, 24]
