The Children of Light

The sons of God are likened to lights shining in a dark world. The Lord Jesus said,

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
[Mt 5:14-16]

The illumination of the children of light inspires others to glorify Yahweh within their own spirits. Prophet Daniel writes,

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.
[Dan 12:3]

Apostle James writes,

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with WHOM is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Of HIS OWN will begat HE us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of HIS creatures.
[Jam 1:17]

Apostle Paul writes,

But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, Who is the Image of God, should shine unto them.
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
For God, WHO commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ.
But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the Excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
[II Cor 4:3-7]
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
Holding forth the Word of Life…

Yahweh teaches and empowers the children of light to properly serve HIM and administer words of life. The Lord Jesus said,

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.
[St Jn 4:23, 24]

King Solomon writes,

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
[Pro 18:21]

A man hath joy by the answer of HIS mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it?
[Pro 15:23]

Every word of God is pure: HE is a shield unto them that put their trust in HIM.
Add thou not unto HIS words, lest HE reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
[Pro 30:5, 6]

Prophet Isaiah writes,

The LORD God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: HE wakeneth morning by morning, HE wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
[Isa 50:4]


The Lord Jesus said,

It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.
[Jn 6:44, 45]

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
[Mt 28:19, 20]

Children of light adhere to and are careful to remain focused on principles of righteousness as ascribed by Yahweh through HIS exclusive scribes and prophets from Enoch to Jesus Christ and His Original Apostles. Enoch writes,

The second vision, which he saw, the vision of wisdom – which Enoch the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, saw.
And this is THE BEGINNING of the words of wisdom which I lifted up my voice to speak and say to those which dwell on earth:
Hear, ye men of old time, and see, ye that come after, the words of the HOLY ONE which I <Enoch> will speak before <Yahweh> THE LORD OF SPIRITS. It were better to declare (them only) to the men of old time, but even from those that come after we will not withhold THE BEGINNING <of the words> OF WISDOM.
Till the present according to my <Enoch’s> insight, according to the good pleasure of THE LORD OF SPIRITS by WHOM the lot of eternal life has been given to me.
Now three Parables, were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and recounted them to those that dwell on the earth.

The Lord Jesus said,

These are the words which I speak unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning ME.
Then opened HE their understanding, that THEY might understand the scriptures.
[Lk 24:44, 45]
Prophet Daniel writes,

And he <the angel> said <to Daniel concerning knowledge meant for future generations>: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise <Children of Light> shall understand.
[Dan 12:10]

In Yahweh’s perspective the greatest people on earth are The Children of Light. The Lord Jesus said,

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
[Mt 5:19]
