Lesson 15 of 77
The Seal of Divine Sonship
[See Lessons 13, 41, 56, 74]
By Lawrence DeMetrius

The Holy Ghost is a Gift to all who live to fulfill their whole duty as mortal beings, which is to properly reverence and obey Yahweh. Yahweh said through Moses,

Thou shalt have no other gods before ME.
[Exo 20:3]

King Solomon writes,

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep HIS commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[Eccl 12:13]

The Holy Ghost is the Seal of their citizenship and eternal inheritance now secured in the heavens. Apostle Paul writes,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, WHO hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
According as HE hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before HIM in love:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to HIMSELF, according to the good pleasure of HIS will.
To the praise of the glory of HIS grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved.
In Whom we have redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace;
Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of HIS will, according to HIS good pleasure which HE hath purposed in HIMSELF:
That in the dispensation of the fullness of times HE might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in HIM:
In Whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of HIM WHO worketh all things after the counsel of HIS OWN will:
That we should be to the praise of HIS glory, WHO first trusted in Christ.
In Whom ye also trusted, after the ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation in Whom also, after that ye believed, ye were SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance unto the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of HIS glory.
[Eph 1:3-14]

It is the work of the Holy Ghost to comfort, teach, and guide the sons of God in the pathway of truth and righteousness. The Lord Jesus said,

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in My Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
[Jn 14:26]

Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself <or on His Own accord>: but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
[Jn 16:13]

It is the work of the Holy Ghost to empower the sons of God to serve in HIS universal Ministry of Divine Iconoclasm. The Lord Jesus said,

All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
[Mt 28:18-20]

The work of the Holy Ghost is to guard the minds of the sons of God from the influence of anti-Christ teachers and their doctrines.

The Lord Jesus said,

For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
[Mt 24:5, 11, 24, 25]

Apostle John writes,

But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
Who is a liar but he that deneith that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
And this is the promise that HE hath promised us, even eternal life.
These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
But the Anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as It hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.
[I Jn 2:20-27]

Prophet Malachi foretold of Christ as the Source of purification, that is perquisite to serving in Yahweh’s universal Ministry of Divine Iconoclasm.

He writes,

Behold, I will send My Messenger, and He shall prepare the way before Me: and the Lord, Whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, Whom ye delight in: behold, He shall come, saith the LORD OF HOSTS.
But who may abide the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appeareth? For He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:’
And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto THE LORD an offering in righteousness.
Then shall the offering of Judah, and Jerusalem, be pleasant unto THE LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
[Mal 3:1-4]

Confirming Malachi’s prophecy John the Baptist said,

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but He that cometh after me is mightier than I, Whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Whose fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly purge His floor, and gather His wheat into the garner; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
[Mt 3:11, 12]

Upon completing His Passion, the Lord Jesus confirmed and it was fulfilled that His brethren would be baptized with the Holy Ghost as a necessity to effectively carry on the Ministry of Divine Iconoclasm on earth. The Lord Jesus said,

These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.
Then opened He their understanding that they might understand the scriptures.
And He said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
And ye are witnesses of these things.
And, behold, I send the promise of My Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.
[Lk 24:44-49]
In his letter to Theophilus regarding the words of Christ, concerning the promise of the Holy Ghost Apostle Luke writes,

The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,
Until the day in which He was taken up, after that He through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom He had chosen:
To whom also He shewed Himself alive after His Passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the Promise of the Father, which, saith He, ye have heard of Me.
For John truly baptized with water, but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Lord, wilt Thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in HIS OWN power.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
[Acts 1:1-8]

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
[Acts 2:1-4]

The Holy Ghost is imparted unto those who have been spiritually born again to empower them to know truth, live righteously per Yahweh’s perspective, and carry out HIS will on earth. Those who do not have Him abiding within are not spiritually related to Yahweh as HIS sons, and therefore are not brethren of Christ the Messiah. Apostle Paul writes,

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ:
[Rm 8:9, 14-18a]

The Lord Jesus said,

For whosoever shall do the will of My Father which is in heaven, the same is My brother, and sister, and mother.
[Mt 12:50]
