Lesson 30 of 77
Believe and Speak the Words of Life
{See Lessons 8, 26, 29, 31, 35, 48}
By Lawrence DeMetrius
Spirits of born-again believers are minds that have been divinely enlightened about Yahweh, HIS Christ, and the Holy Ghost. The Lord Jesus said,
All things are delivered unto Me of My Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal HIM.
[Mt 11:27]
But who say ye that I am?
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but My Father which is in heaven.
[Mt 16:15-17]
If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.
He that believeth on Me, as the scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
(But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
[Jn 7:37-39]
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
[Jn 16:13]
Apostle Paul writes,
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit Itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ: …
[Rm 8:9, 14-17a]
Only those who worship the Triune Godhead are empowered to properly know, understand and obey divine directives, as provisioned by Yahweh through HIS Scribes and Prophets from Enoch to Jesus Christ and His Original Apostles. Enoch writes,
The second vision which he saw, the vision of wisdom – which Enoch the son Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, saw.
And this is the beginning of the words of wisdom which I lifted up my voice to speak and say to those which dwell on earth: Hear, ye men of old time, and see, ye that come after, the words of the HOLY ONE which I will speak before the LORD OF SPIRITS.
It were better to declare (them only) to the men of old time, but even from those that come after we will not withhold the beginning of wisdom.
Till the present day such wisdom has never been given by THE LORD OF SPIRITS as I have received according to my insight, according to the good pleasure of THE LORD OF SPIRTS by WHOM the lot of eternal life has been given to me.
Now three Parables were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and recounted them to those that dwell on the earth.
[Eno 37]
The Book of Hebrews notes,
GOD, WHO at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, Whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also HE made the worlds;
Who being the brightness of HIS glory, and the express image of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the MAJESTY on high;
[Heb 1:1-3]
Apostle Peter writes,
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
[II Pet 1:20]
Apostle Paul writes,
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
[II Tim 2:15]
The Lord Jesus said,
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me.
But if ye believe not his <Moses’s> writings, how shall ye believe My words?
[St Jn 5:39, 47]
These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.
Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
[Luke 24:44, 45]
If ye continue in My word then are ye My Disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
[Jn 8:31, 32]
Those who do not value proper knowledge, understanding, and obedience of Yahweh’s directives are minds that are blinded by Lucifer. Apostle Paul writes,
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, Who is the Image of God, should shine unto them.
[II Cor 4:3, 4]
Those who are spiritually blind will remain so until they receive of Yahweh the mind of repentance per Apostle Paul, who writes,
And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
[II Tim 2:24-26]
As the determination of their temporal and eternal fate is based upon what they believe in their heart and confess with their mouths, all mortals are admonished to believe and speak the words of life. The Old Testament notes regarding the decree of those who are considered righteous in Yahweh’s perspective,
Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
[Job 22:28]
King Solomon writes,
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
[Pro 18:21]
Apostle Paul writes,
The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
[Rm 10:8-10]
The Lord Jesus said,
A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
[Mt 12:35-37]
