Lesson 41 of 77
Pieces of the Puzzle
{See Lessons 16, 31, 56, 74}
By Lawrence DeMetrius
The Holy Scriptures are like pieces to a puzzle. As the pieces thereof come together the picture that Yahweh desires one to see becomes clearer.
Apostle Paul writes,
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
[II Tim 3:16, 17]
As with any puzzle, diligent analyzation and proper placement of each piece is required. Again, while divine revelation is quite simple, the practice of effective scriptural study is required to acquire it.
King David writes,
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not whither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
[Ps 1:1-3]
The Lord Jesus said,
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of Me.
[St Jn 5:39]
Apostle Paul writes,
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
[II Tim 2:15]
Jesus Christ also applies CONTINUANCE of this practice as a prerequisite to uncovering the liberating truths of His teachings. Only His true disciples are privileged to do so. He said,
I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
If ye continue in My word, then are ye My disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
[Jn 8:12, 31, 32, 36]
Yahweh equips HIS Elect to properly worship HIM through proper knowledge of HIS principles, as taught by HIS scribes and prophets from Enoch to Christ and His Original Apostles. Enoch writes,
The second vision which he saw, the vision of wisdom- which Enoch the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, saw. And this is the beginning of the words of wisdom which I lifted up my voice to speak and say to those which dwell on earth: Hear, ye men of old time, and see, ye that come after, the words of THE HOLY ONE which I will speak before THE LORD OF SPIRITS. It were better to declare them only to the men of old time, but even from those that come after we will not withhold the beginning of wisdom.
Till the present day such wisdom has never been given by THE LORD OF SPIRITS as I have received according to my insight, according to the good pleasure of THE LORD OF SPIRITS by WHOM the lot of eternal life has been given to me. Now three Parables were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and recounted them to those that dwell on the earth.
[Eno 37]
The Lord Jesus said,
These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning Me.
Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures.
[Lk 24:44, 45]
Apostle Peter writes,
Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
[II Pet 1:20, 21]
Christ is the ultimate personification of Yahweh’s word and has been prior to all creation. Enoch writes,
Yea, before the sun and the signs were created. Before the stars of the heaven were made, His Name was named before the Lord of Spirits.
[Eno 48:3]
Apostle John writes,
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.
In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us <the Original Apostles of Christ>, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
[St Jn 1:1-4, 14]
Apostle John advises that the test of a doctrine being of divine nature is if it complies with the teachings of Jesus Christ. He writes,
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
[I Jn 4:1-3]
The Lord Jesus said,
He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.
[Mt 12:30]
The Elect are admonished not to allow themselves to be beguiled by liars, especially those who present themselves as messengers of THE LORD and HIS Christ. The Lord Jesus said,
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
[Mt 7:15-21]
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
[Mt 24:5, 7, 11, 24]
Apostle Paul writes,
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we <the Original Apostles of Christ> have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
[II Cor 11:3, 4, 13-15]
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from HIM that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we <the Original Apostles of Christ> have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received <of the Original Apostles of Christ>, let him be accursed.
[Gal 1:6-9]
Every soul is invited to receive Christ as Lord, Savior and Master Teacher. Only with Him can anyone assemble The Pieces of The Puzzle that reveals divine truth.
