Lesson 46 of 77
Divine Faith, Hope and Love
{See Lesson 77}
By Lawrence DeMetrius
Divine Faith, Hope, and Love empower one to learn and carry out Yahweh's will in their life. Of divine FAITH Apostle Paul writes,
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
[Heb 11:1]

Per this ancient text FAITH has two elements. The two elements of divine FAITH are SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR and EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN, which includes Yahweh HIMSELF as HE is invisible. Concerning having FAITH in Yahweh Apostle Paul writes,
But without faith it is impossible to please HIM: for he that cometh to God must believe that HE is, and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.
[Heb 11:6]

Although many children of disobedience will not hear or heed them, Christ still admonishes His brethren to declare themselves as His witnesses and be available to share the insight He imparts to them in secret. The Lord Jesus said,
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
[Mt 5:14-16]
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear that preach ye upon the housetops.
[Mt 10:8, 27]
All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth.
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
[Mt 28:18-20]
*evidence Gk #1650 elegchos (el-eng-khos) it is proof and conviction
*seen Gk #991 blepo (blep-o) it means to look at
This refers to material THINGS or situations that one can experience in the natural, earthly or terrestrial realm. They are THINGS that one hope for and expects to materialize in the terrestrial realm at some point.
Until they do, these THINGS remain unseen and not yet experienced in the natural, earthly, or terrestrial realm. Divine HOPE generates a life in Christ that is void of shame before the FATHER. In fact, Christ within is the ETERNAL HOPE OF GLORY for all who have FAITH in Yahweh and in Christ. Divine HOPE in Christ makes one pure as Christ is pure in Yahweh’s perspective. Apostle John writes,
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He <Christ> is pure.
[I Jn 3:2, 3]
Finally, the greatest of spiritual fruit is divine LOVE. Apostle Paul writes,
But covet earnestly the best <spiritual> gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way <the way of love>.
[I Cor 12:31]
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Bearteh all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Charity never failteh: but whether there be prophecies they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now, we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
[I Cor 13]
Divine LOVE is righteousness in action first towards one’s self. Christ as the Divine Wisdom of the Elect speaks by King Solomon saying,
For whoso findeth Me <Christ, the divine Wisdom of saints> findeth life and shall obtain favor of THE LORD.
But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death.
[Pro 8:35, 36]
Of Christ being the Wisdom of the Elect, Apostle Paul writes,
But of HIM <Yahweh> are ye in Christ Jesus, Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
<Why?> That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in THE LORD.
[I Cor 1:30, 31]
Divine LOVE is right doing towards others including one’s mortal enemies. The Lord Jesus said,
Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
<Why?> That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for HE maketh HIS sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more then others? Do not the even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
[Mt 5:43-48]
That which is void of divine LOVE is of no use in the Kingdom of God. By living in the Holy Ghost, one has access to all of His divine characteristics that accessorize the most powerful, which are Divine Faith, Hope, And Love. Apostle Paul writes,
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance; against such there is no law.
[Gal 5:22, 23]
