Lesson 48 of 77
Redemption Is for All
{See Lessons 8, 22, 23, 29, 30, 53, 76}
By Lawrence DeMetrius
It is Yahweh’s desire for every mortal spirit to live forever before HIM in bliss and not perish. Apostle Peter writes,
THE LORD is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
[II Pet 3:9]
THE LORD has no pleasure in the death of any mortal spirit HE creates, per HIS word through Prophet Ezekiel, who writes,
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? Saith the LORD God: and not that he should return from his ways and live?
[Eze 18:23]
Because of HIS unconditional love for each mortal spirit, Yahweh permitted HIS Christ to become the propitiation for their sins. Apostle John writes,
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
[I Jn 2:1, 2]
Because Yahweh has given Christ as the Token of HIS love for them, there is no reason for any mortal spirit to perish, other than their own choice to do so by rejecting HIS Christ. Apostle John writes,
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent HIS only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that HE loved us, and sent HIS Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[I Jn 4:9, 10]
The Lord Jesus said,
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not HIS Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already; because he hath not believed in the Name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest that they are wrought in God.
[St Jn 3:14-21]
The children of earth are given ample opportunity to receive eternal salvation of their spirit through Christ. Apostle Paul writes,
Wherefore He <Christ> is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.
[Heb 7:25]
Only those who transition to immortality void of Christ as their Righteousness, will inherit the second death. Apostle John writes,
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
[St Jn 3:36]
And I <Apostle John> saw a great white throne, and HIM that sat on it, from Whose Face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is The Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in The Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
[Rev 20:11-15]
The Holy Ghost is willing to reveal the deep spiritual truth of Yahweh’s Christ and His Testimony to all who reverently acknowledge and receive it by faith. Apostle Paul writes,
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.
But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we <the redeemed> have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; <Why?> that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
[I Cor 2:7-14]
This is likely why Apostle John wrote that the unredeemed mind will never know eternal life, and also why Prophet Daniel wrote that only the wise will understand divine insight but the wicked will not. He writes,
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
[Dan 12:10]
The Lord Jesus said,
If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.
He that believeth on Me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
<Apostle John clarifies> (But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
[Jn 7:37-39]
Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
He shall glorify Me <Christ the Word>: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[Jn 16:13, 14]
Apostle Paul writes,
And the servant of THE LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves: if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth:
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
[II Tim 2:24-26]
Nothing is more valuable than intimate relationship with Yahweh through Christ. Whether or not one embraces HIM through Christ, the Token of HIS love will endure forever as proof that HE made redemption possible for all. Moses declared to Israel an invitation given to people of all generations writing,
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore, choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
That thou mayest love THE LORD THY GOD, and that thou mayest obey HIS Voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto HIM: for HE is thy life, and the length of thy days: …
