Divine Richness
{See Lessons 19, 54, 60, 62, 69}
By Lawrence DeMetrius
All creation belongs to Yahweh. Moses writes,
Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is THE LORD’S THY GOD’S, the earth also, with all that therein is.
[Deut 10:14]
King David writes,
THE LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[Ps 24:1]
No one born into the world except, Christ the Word by Whom it was made, brings anything into or will surely carry nothing out of it. Apostle Paul writes,
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
[I Tim 6:7]
In fact, when one’s mortal lifetime expires even their physical body returns to the earth as dust, and the breath they breath goes back to Yahweh WHO gave it. Yahweh said per Moses,
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
[Gen 3:19]
MY spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
[Gen 6:3]
That thou mayest love THE LORD THY GOD, and that thou mayest obey HIS voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto HIM: for HE is thy life, and the length of thy days…
[Deut 30:20]
King Solomon writes,
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit <of life> shall return unto God WHO gave it.
[Eccl 12:7]
Apostle Paul declared,
For in HIM we live, and move, and have our being…
[Act 17:28]
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
[Heb 9:27]
THE LORD loves and provides for all that dwells on earth. The Lord Jesus said,
For HE maketh HIS sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
[Mt 5:45b]
THE LORD richly gives to all good things to enjoy. Apostle Paul writes,
…God, WHO giveth us richly all things to enjoy…
[I Tim 6:17b]
Surplus blessings are possible for those who exclusively worship Yahweh, which is the whole duty of every mortal. Yahweh declared through Moses,
Thou shalt have no other gods before ME.
[Exo 20:3]
King Solomon writes,
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: fear God, and keep HIS commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
[Eccl 12:13]
Moses reiterates twice in his writings concerning the surplus blessings that are possible for Yahweh Worshipers. He writes,
Ye shall make you no idols nor graven images, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
Ye shall keep MY sabbaths, and reverence MY sanctuary: I am THE LORD.
If ye walk in MY statues, and keep MY commandments, and do them;
Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish MY covenant with you.
And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
And I will set My tabernacle among you: and MY SOUL shall not abhor you.
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be MY people.
I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
[Lev 26:1-13]
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the Voice of the LORD thy God.
Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.
The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and HE shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto HIMSELF, as HE hath sworn unto thee, IF thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in HIS ways.
And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the Name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.
And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.
The LORD shall open unto thee HIS good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; IF that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
[Deut 28:1-14]
All mortals are admonished to never place their trust in any source as they should in THE LORD. King David writes,
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will HE withhold from them that walk uprightly.
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in THEE.
[Ps 84:11, 12]
King Solomon writes,
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
[Pro 3:5-8]
Apostle Paul writes,
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of WHOM are all things, and we in HIM; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom are all things, and we by Him.
Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge:
[I Cor 8:6, 7a]
No one can trust in two masters per the Lord Jesus Who said,
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
[Mt 6:24]
Apostle John reiterates this writing,
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.
[I Jn 2:15-17]
Per His dialogue with the Rich Young Ruler, Christ teaches that those who live according to His directives, gain a 100% return on all they forfeited to do so and that with eternal life. The Lord Jesus said,
And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name’s sake shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.
[Mt 19:29]
King David writes,
THOU wilt shew me the path of life: in THY presence is fulness of joy; at THY right hand there are pleasures fore evermore.
[Ps 16:11]
The Lord speaking of Himself by King Solomon said,
Receive MY instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
I love them that love ME; and those that seek ME early <diligently> shall find ME.
Riches and honor are with ME; yea, durable riches and righteousness.
MY fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and MY revenue than choice silver.
I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
That I may cause those that love ME to inherit substance; and will fill their treasures.
Blessed is the man that heareth ME, watching daily at MY gates, waiting at the posts of MY doors.
For whoso findeth ME findeth life, and shall obtain favor of THE LORD.
But he that sinneth against ME wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate ME love death.
[Pro 8:10, 11, 17-21, 32-36]
The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and HE addeth no sorrow with it.
[Pro 10:22]
